Chapter 21

November 19th 2022

My family and Emily arrived at our house last night with Seb, Downey, Ma and Scott arriving early this morning, now we were just waiting on Carly, Ryan, Shanna and the kids.

While Noah and Madi are out in the garden chasing after Dodger, the rest of the family finally turns up.

My anxiety started to peak while myself and Chris was in the kitchen. I'm so scared about telling everyone about this pregnancy, I'm just hoping that their reactions will be good.

"Babe you okay?"

"Not really, my anxiety is starting to creep in and I'm so scared to tell them about this pregnancy"

"Come here, we both know that everything is going to be fine, everyone is going to be excited for this baby to turn up"

"What if they are not even excited a little bit about the idea of me being pregnant?"

"Babe listen to me, don't stress out about it like I've said, they are going to be over the moon about you being pregnant"

"Okay, I just hope you are right"

"Just promise me okay"

"Okay, I promise"

"Do you feel any better?"

"Yeah I do"

"That's good, let's go tell them"

All I could do was give Chris a positive nod. Why was I all of a sudden so scared to tell them about the pregnancy.

"Kids can you all come inside for a few minutes please"

"Coming"

After Chris had calmed me down a few minutes ago, the nerves started to come back again.

"So the reason why we've asked you all to come here today is because we have got some pretty big news to tell you all"

"Spit it out then"

"We're expecting another baby Evans, I'm currently 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant, my due date is July 24th 2023"

"Oh my fucking god, that is the best news for us to even hear, congratulations sis"

"Well, we get to have another grandchild added to the family"

"When did you find out?"

"I found out that I was pregnant on the 2nd, then I had told Chris on the 8th along with telling Megan because I couldn't fly out to LA for my interview with Jimmy Kimmel, found out how far along I was on the 12th and now we're telling you guys today"

"That's amazing, congratulations to you both. We cannot wait for this grand baby to make an entrance into this world"

"We're going to be having another cousin"

"And we're going to have another sibling"

I kneel down to the kids level so that I could respond to them.

"Yes, you're all getting a newest addition to the family but when the baby is born, you won't be able to run around with them as they will be to young"

"We can't wait"

It went a lot better than I was expecting, it was the first time in a long time that I actually didn't get to far in my own head but I couldn't thank Chris enough to pull me out before it got worse.
