Shock riddled my brain. I have to fight this completely alone. I don't have family anymore. Why me? I have already been through enough in my life. I'm so young. I'm only 19. I haven't lived. I want to run on a beach. I want to possibly get married and have children.  I want life.

"Lily, are you okay?" Carlisle asked. I looked at him like that was a dumb question.

"I don't have anyone. Can you be my power of attorney if I am unable to make decisions on my own?  I want to live no matter the cost. I  want you to save me in any way you can." I babbled on. I watched his face, and he nodded, and he left the room. I felt another wave of fatigue hit. I went with it.

Carlisle POV

I watched as Lily passed out and landed on the floor.  I knew it was COVID. Alice told me. I hated to see another pandemic ransack the world again.  I know that I can help on the front lines  again.  Lily reminds me of a female version of Jasper. She has the same build and hair. She could possibly be a distant relative of his. I watched as she slept. I wanted to see if she would come too.

She surprised me when she did. She looked at me with her dull blue eyes. I happened to let out that she tested positive. I felt sad for her. It wasn't fair that she was going to have a short  life. Her voice broke me out of my thoughts. She wanted me to make her decisions if she couldn't.  She begged me for help. What if she suspects? A million thoughts rush to my head. I nodded and left the room. I could see her getting tired.

It was the end of my shift and I went home to my family of Vampires.  I was still stuck in thought. I want to help her. I could give her life but at a cost of humanity.  I need to talk it over.

"Family Meeting in five minutes. That includes Jacob." I said in a normal voice. I saw many faces of my family in the living room. Emmett came bounding down the stairs naked. He did bring clothes with him this time. I grimaced.

"Emmett, why?" I asked.

"I was busy with Rosalie. " He whined.  I rolled my eyes and he put on his clothes slowly.

"Carlisle, what's the meeting about?" My darling wife Esme asked. She has been worried about the pandemic.

"Well my favorite CNA got COVID. She's not looking to hot. I'm worried that she's not going to make it. She begged me to save her. I kept thinking of Edward's mom begging me to save her son. I can't help but shake this feeling that she knows that I could help her. I want to change her." I say quickly. At first silence fills the air then wood splitting. I guess that's a no for Rosalie.

"Carlisle, are you sure?" My Esme asks. I nod. Alice looks like she's in a vision.

"I haven't been more sure in my life. She feels like family." I said.

"So damning her to this life is smart. Look at all of us we are frozen in time. Renesmae helped us feel humanity a bit. We suffered loss in this life. I know that you make the right decisions but I want you to think  hard on this. Carlisle I know that this is a hard time.  The last pandemic you turned me and I am grateful for my family but this life is hard and so long." Edward said with concern. He always says the right thing.

His words stuck in my head and I knew that I had to try and save her but I will turn her if she doesn't have any choice.  Alice nodded her head confirming my thoughts.

"Carlisle the wolves will stand by you but I can tell that this is your free pass to turn her. I have this feeling that she is somebody important by your demeanor." Jacob said. His authority has grown over the years. I am so glad that the treaty evolved into friendship.

I  knew what had to be done. I'm going to change her and hopefully she joins our family. I now have to come up with a plan. Maybe we can bring her here but how.

"Last thing we need a plan to bring her here." I said. Alice started to jump up and down.

"Well I guess this is where I come in. We could make this a special COVID Hospital. We could pretend that this would be a clinical trial. That she qualified for. Esme and I can make a fake brochure. Renesmae and Rosalie can stage as nurses and Bella can be another COVID doctor. I can see this working the best." Alice chimed. "We need this to go smoothly. Everyone needs to follow rules. We transfer her tomorrow.  She's going to be what they call rallying.  She comes tomorrow. "

We got to work. We got the paperwork done and I set up my office with all the medical equipment we may possibly need. I just need to prepare for work.

Lily's POV

I was walking in the forest just wandering around.  I came upon this beautiful clearing with blue wildflowers. In the center of the clearing I see my mom.

She had beautiful strawberry blond hair. Her face is a lot like mine. She had my angular jaw. She had my blue eyes. I had my dad's nose. I was so happy to see her.

"Mom?" I questioned her. She nodded her head. I ran to her arms. I haven't seen her in 9 years.

"Honey, it's not your time yet. I know that you missed me but you have to fight. I'm sorry that you are so sick. " She soothed.  I missed her voice and I felt her shove me. I woke up from the fantastic dream.

I cleared my eyes and saw the familiar blond hair.  Dr. Cullen.

"Lily, I did some research and there is a special COVID Hospital not far from here. I sent in an application for you and you got accepted.  I really urge you to go." He informed me.

"When do I go?" I asked.

"Today. Probably in an hour, Doctor Swan will be here to transport you."

"Is this the best time? I'm still positive for the virus."

"They are more qualified and they are doing state of the art clinic trials. I have to go and I will be back in a little bit." He said and left the room.

Now I am left to my own thoughts. I'm a little hesitant on what Carlisle brought up. I have a feeling that this is my best chance.  I am drawn out of my thoughts by a knock at the door.  A woman walks in with brown hair. She was a runway model. She is literally perfect and she has the same eyes as Dr. Cullen.

"Hello,  I am Dr. Swan. I am in charge of the COVID Hospital.  Are you ready to go, Lilyanna." Her voice rang like bells. I nodded.  She helped me to a wheelchair and she handed me two masks and a couple of blankets. She also handed me a face shield.  I signed out of the hospital and was in the car in no time. We rode in silence. I watched all the scenery zip by us. It was a very long ride to the new place.

I suddenly felt the car stop in the driveway. I saw a beautiful house. It was big and looked like something out of a magazine. This can't be a hospital.   Then this grizzly bear of a man came bounding down the stairs without a mask. I looked at him curiously. He opened my door and I cringed.

"Emmett! You need to wear a mask! She has COVID!" A blond woman yelled.  She was extremely beautiful.

"Aw, Rosie, don't be silly. I can't catch COVID. I'm a vampire, remember?" He said childishly. I heard gasps and saw mean glares directed to Emmett.
