Most people got letters when they were in the great hall. Draco's mum would send him chocolates and other sweets every week. Hedwig didn't bring anything for Harry so far. He didn't expect anything from Dursleys and who else would write to him? She would occasionally fly to his shoulder and nibble on his ear.

But the next morning Harry was surprised to get a letter, "who's it from" he asked pouring milk into his cereal. "Hagrid," Harry said.

"Hagrid? Why did he write you" Draco said and peered over Harry's shoulder to read the letter.

Dear Harry, (it said, in a very untidy scrawl)
I know you get Friday afternoons off, so would you like to come and have a cup of tea with me around three? I want to hear all about your first week. Send us an answer back with Hedwig.
Hagrid

Harry smiled, draco huffed when he read the letter. "you gonna go?" he asked Harry. "Of course I am, i was going to meet Hagrid either way," he said folding the letter and putting it onto the side. "Hmm" draco said, "Would you both like to come?" harry asked him and Theo. They shared a look but harry continued "I am going to ask Ron too, we all could get along" harry said with a sudden enthusiasm.

Theo raise his eyebrows "Not quite sure if your ginger friend would like that or the gamekeeper for that matter" he said. Harry shook his head "they wont mind" harry said. Harry looked at draco with hope in his eyes "what do you say?" he asked. Draco gulped at the the expression harry was giving him, merin how was he supposed to refuse? He looked at theo who was looking at him in amusement.

"Agh, fine, we will go" he said. Harry grinned "Brilliant" whilst theo shook his head with a laugh. "I'll go and ask ron" harry said standing up from him seat and basically sprinting towards the Gryffindor table.

"What?" Draco asked when he noticed the expression theo was giving him. "I think i am close to figuring out whatever is wrong with you" he said. Draco narrowed his eyes, there was no possible way theo would know about the diary. "whatever do you mean?" draco asked. Theo looked back at harry then at draco with an obvious expression.

Draco felt his cheeks growing warm, but he scowled. "whatever your thinking, stop" he said. Theo just smirked and went back to his food.

So they made their way out to the school grounds and down to the little hut near the Forbidden Forest where Rubeus Hagrid lived. The man greeted them cheerfully, though he was struggling to rule in his monstrous boarhound that seemed keen on jumping them. The insides of Hagrid's hut were meager and there was barely any place to sit. Both theo and draco felt awkward as if they were going where they weren't invited.

"Hagrid, this is Ron," Harry introduced Weasley, gesturing to where the redhead was almost disappearing underneath the canine body. "This is draco and that is theo" Draco gave an awkward smile whilst Theo looked as confident as ever. Merlin, draco really needed to work on his first impression-making skills.

"Another Weasley, eh?," Hagrid asked as he put dubious-looking cake onto plates in front of them. "I spent half me life chasin' your brothers away from the Forest." Weasley grinned sheepishly before Hagrid's dark eyes focused on Draco. "And yeh're the Slytherin friends of 'arry aren' yeh?," he asked, frowning.

"Yes," Draco confirmed, shifting uncomfortably next to Theo who also nodded.

Hagrid just hummed.

"So, tell me, how was yer first week? I want ter hear everything!"

The rock cakes almost broke their teeth, but Harry and Weasley pretended to be enjoying them, while both draco and theo refused to touch something so...well we don't need to word it out do we? Hagrid would have minded it but he was busy hearing about harry and weasley rant about their week.
