Telling Emmett About Vampires

Carlise POV

I cant believe that we have to tell him and he has only been here for a day. I knew that Emmett was going to be another addition to our family. I am also glad that Bella has found her mate, she has been alone for too long. I love that our oldest daughter has found her mate but we will have to change him. It's good that they don't have to go to school for a few weeks, thank god for summer break.

Walking down the stairs I see that all of our beautiful kids were sitting in the lounge room. Everyone was sitting in pairs and then there was Bella sitting next to Emmett, they look truly beautiful together. Jasper looked like he was going to explode with all of the anxiety.

"Emmett we all have something to tell you," I tried to say with authority. "Okay but I have to tell you guys something but don't laugh if it is not true. I don't want to go red like a tomato," Emmett said trying to sound brave and not embarrassed. " Son, you can go first, " I said nervously walking over to my wife and giving her a quick peck on her cheek, another of my wonderful creations.

Alice you always zone out and then you come back and you know what is going to happen next, you can see the future which is your vampire power. Jasper is an empath because he is always in the room and makes the person feel what he wants and now he is all nervous and I knew you are all nervous. Edward is a mind reader and I know this because when I think funny comments to myself you always snicker. Then there is Bella, I think that you have many powers or simple one that is a very powerful, Stealer. "

He just looked at us and waited to continue, " All of you others haven't found your power and Carlise your power is to heal cause otherwise many of your paients would have died. Esme your is like Jaspers and Edward's, you can control objects with your mind. Rose your power is to control fire. I think that if I was a vampire that mine would be another stealer."

As soon as I could snap out of shock I said to him, "Son, that is correct we are vampires and Alice, Jasper, Edward and Bella do have those powers. Do the rest of us really have them." " Yes you just never had a reason to use them or you just never wanted them." "Thank you for helping us find out our powers and I always thought that only one person can have a certain gift."

The silence is killing me it's awarkward but then again it is comforting. The thing that shocked me the most is how he can pick things up like that, but there is logic to them. I mean I'm a doctor and well he is telling the truth many of my paitents should have died. Well I guess you can see the logic in the others.

Emmetts Pov

I knew my predictions were correct. Although the silence is killing me and I think that everyone else does too but they just don't want to break the silence first. " GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR," why oh why did my stomach have to break it. " Son would you like something to eat, how about a chicken burger," oh Esme my loving new mother she is truly all I can ask for even if I have only known her for only a day. "That would be nice Mum". She smiled at me calling her mum.

"Emmett there is also another thing we have to ask you. Would you like to become one of us?"Carlise always speaks with athourity."Yes I would like that very much thank you." "We were think that maybe you would like to get it over and done with, Bella would you like to do it and make it speed up to a few hours. Oh and Bella go hunt first it will take some power and your eyes are already turning black. Go now sweety."

"Yes Father, P.S. Emmett I can read your thoughts and so can Edward.?" "That I will have to get use to." She left with so much grace. I can't wait to tell her how much I love her, SHIT Edward can read my mind, hay bro. Edward just starts laughing, it wasn't funny you know.

*****3 hours later*****

It as been 3 hours since My Angel left. It did make me feel good that she didn't hunt humans. There was a change in the wind and I felt a velvet voice behind me whisper in my ear so delicately "Still thinking about me are we. Come in let's get this over and done with, follow me to my room it's sound proof"

Following Angel into her room was awesome I mean she didn't even care that I wanted to hold her hand but then again she probably heard my thoughts. Walking into her room I wonder what is going to happen next....................................................
