Hunting trip

Bella's POV

Today is the day that I am going hunting with Carlise and Esme. At the moment, it sucks because I am the only one in the Cullen clan or family without a mate. There is Edward and Rosalie, Alice and Jasper, Carlisle and Esme, and then there is me. Plain old me.

My past life, before I became a vampire, was horrible. I was tortured by my family and then, on my last day of my life, I was raped by my husband-to-be the day before the marriage because, apparently, he found another girl that he liked, but after my transformation I killed him and his new wife. I know that my story is a bit like Rosalie's, but I was also raped by my step father (Note: Her real father is Aro, Bella's mum was pregnent before she met Aro) who says that I was and still is, the worst thing that ever happened to him. I think that he was the worst thing that happened to me and my mother.

Edward and I are having a hunting game against each other. We have been doing it since he was a newborn. He might have speed but my power is to take, multiply and control powers, so I would always win. I'm now heading the opposite way to Edward because I know where the biggest and best animals are.

******3 hours later******

I came back home from hunting about 2 hours ago but Edward still hasn't come back, so Alice, Rose, Esme and I are going shopping because, according to Alice, we need new clothes for school on Monday. I hate school because it's boring once you have done it over 100 times you begin to realise thar you're smarter than the teachers, therefore you have to try and not reveal your vampire identity. I have disobeyed the rule once, and told Rosalie about our kind before Carlisle and I changed her.

But, of course, my father is Aro, the leader of the Volturi. He is still sad about Mum, but my Mum died because she didn't want to be changed. The only reason that Aro stayed alive (in a vampire kind of way) is because Mum told him to, for me. My mum may have been a human during the birth but she was full vampire before the birth so I'm not a hybrid, this, I found out, after I stopped ageing.

The first shop that Alice dragged me in to was Victoria's Secret. I don't know why I have to go in this store, seeing as though I don't have a guy.

"Bella, try this on! Just because you don't have a guy, doesn't mean that you can't get some, Esme's even getting something!" screamed Alice.

"Fine Alice, I will try them on, but they would just be hanging in the closet for a while." I replied with a hint of sarcasm but mostly seriousness. I walked over to the changing stalls when suddenly I had a vision of Edward bringing home a guy that was mauled by a bear. He was bleeding, really badly. Was this guy going to survive? What is Edward planning?

I got changed and looked at myself in the full length mirror and decided that I will get them for the future seeing as though I am stuck at 17 years old.

"Alice! Did you just see what I saw? We are leaving now, Carlisle will be home in half an hour with the man to change him into a vampire. Though it pains you deeply, we should probably go shopping later in the week."

Rosalie and Esme looked shocked, then Alice came out of the stall saying, "why don't you just heal him with your powers, that way he can live a normal life. Besides, it's not like he's one of our mates."

"Nice one Alice. I think I will do that, but please can we just leave now because I don't want to use my powers on you." I said, warning her. We gathered our clothes together and headed for the checkout.

******In Alice's flashy, yellow Porsche******

I hopped in the passengers side of the car, Rosalie and Esme sat in the back seats while Alice drove. We arrived home in less than 5 minutes with our slight obsession for speed. When I walked inside (apart from instantly being able to smell the blood) I could sense that Carlisle was in his office working on the guy so I asked Edward for details. He didn't need to actually 'talk' to me he just displayed the info in his head for me to look at. He was definitely mauled by a brown bear. He was 17, strong, buff and he goes to the school that we are going to start tomorrow. His name was Emmett. Well, this information made me think I should erase his memory of what happened. Then he could live with us because I erased all of his memories and he would have nowhere to go. That means that he would have to stay in my room. I walked upstairs to Carlisle's office and I was just in the nick of time because he was just about to bite him but I grabbed Carlisle by the shoulder and sent the message about what I was going to do. After receiving Carlisle's consent, I walked over to Emmett and put my hands over all of his wounds, healing them, and erased all of his memory of Edward's supernatural powers and replaced them with the false memory of him walking up to our front door, broken and bloody, and knocking on the door before he passed out. After I finished forging the memory, Emmett woke up with a real start, opened his eyes and then, it happened..................................................!!!
