At Teatime

Daisy

"Daisy?" He said

I get up from my seat and look into those eyes.

what is he doing here?

"uh what are you doing here?" I ask

"I uh I was with Pierre and he said that he'd come here to see his girlfriend so I came with him" he says

"Oh- who's Pierre?" I say

"Daisy!" Kika says

I completely forgot that they were here.

"Oh right sorry I- I didn't mean to be rude I'm sorry" I say to Pierre

"Oh it's fine, no worries " he says

"So? How do you two know each other?" Kika says as we sit down.

Kika sat next to Pierre which only meant that i sit next to Charles.

"We met just.. few times " Charles says while still staring at me.

"Ooooh so he's the boy we we-" kika says and i kick her feet under the table and fake laugh to change the subject.

I give her a look and she shrugs.

"Yeah we met few times by accident " i say

"That's quite interesting" Pierre says

"Mate, please tell me she's the one you've been rambling about all week" Pierre says and damn I've never heard silence quite this loud.

Charles clears his throat "well i-" he says but I interrupt "how about we order some dessert " I say

"Yes great idea. Dessert " Charles responds quickly.

We ordered and now we're just sitting and eating.

God I hate silence.

"So kika, I don't know if you noticed or not but you haven't introduced me to your boyfriend? Yet" I say breaking the awkward silence.

"Oh my god yes, Daisy this is Pierre and he's not my boyfriend " she says

"What is he then?" I say

"I don't know ask him" she says

"Are you planning on asking her to be your girlfriend or you're just messing around?" I ask him because believe it or not I would break his nose if he would even think of hurting her feelings.

"Woah, I'm not playing with her I- really like her" he says and turn to look at her.

"Of course you do. I mean why wouldn't you? Look at her" I say and he just smiles.

"I mean it look at her face" I say

Oh my god why does he seems scared. He turns around as I told him and looks at her.

"You see that face? Look at how beautiful it is. You have nothing to do but keep a bright smile on it" I say

"Of course I will" he answers me without taking his eyes off of her.

He's in love.

"Okay good" I say

"Ah, c'mon man I wasn't trying to scare you or something I'm sooooo sweet" I say and give him a warm smile.

I really like him. I liked him the moment I saw his face he seems like a good guy. And I think he will make her happy. I was just trying to let him know that she have someone behind her.

He lets out a breath and says "Oh thank god because I really thought you didn't like me"

"You actually seemed a bit scary " Charles says
