The sterile hospital room became a cocoon of uncertainty for Sara. She feigned amnesia, carefully balancing the delicate balance between playing the victim and masking her true intentions. Every smile she shared with Jake, every reassuring touch, was a step closer to unraveling the web of lies she had woven.

"Dad, what if something happens to you? I know you won't be alone, that he's going with you. But what if something doesn't go according to plan?" A 15-year-old girl asked worriedly. She couldn't imagine life without her dad who was so important to her. And there was HIM, he was the one she worried about the most. He was very close to her, he knew that she was not as brave as everyone thought she was. "Everything will be fine, I'll be back soon. You're very strong, you can do it." Her father spoke confidently.

Walking out of the hospital, Jake seemed like her pillar of support, and it was suspicious, but also pleasant. "Calm down, slowly." He repeated it when she hurriedly wanted to leave the building, the building in which she had made the biggest mistake of her life. "The doctor said it's nothing serious, you don't have to worry. I can handle it, I'm strong." As she spoke, she saw a glimmer of sadness in his eyes, or at least she thought it was sadness. "Baby, I know you're strong, you don't have to tell me that. Just know that I'm here to support you." he said it like I was a five-year-old child. "You've already said that" She looked at him angrily, "like 10 times."

"We'll go to my place, order something to eat and watch something. I'll take some time off to stay at home with you, I'll work from home when I need to." he explained to her on the way to the car, and when they got there, he opened the passenger door for her so she could get in. Taking advantage of the opportunity that he had to go around the car, she grabbed the phone to call the radio. Without thinking much, she turned on her favorite playlist. When Jake got in, 'Another Love' started playing in the speakers.

"Hi, little one, come outside, I have a surprise." A 14-year-old girl heard after answering the phone. Without thinking much, she put on her shoes and ran outside the house. "I can't believe it, you did it!" she screamed, jumping on the boy who was standing next to the car. "And yet I made it, because you believed in me. So, are we going for a ride?" he asked as he opened the passenger door. The girl immediately got in and grabbed the phone to turn on the music. "Where are we going? It's a little late, but I guess it's not a problem, right?" she asked her friend. "You'll see soon, little one, I'll make it an evening you won't forget. And of course, it isn't a problem, your parents are with mine. They call it their night" After driving for half an hour, they stopped on a hill. "I don't know what to say, it's beautiful here." she barely managed to say anything. "That's why I took you here, because you are worth every sight." her friend told her, with 'Another Love' playing in the background.

Feeling a knot in her stomach, she quickly played another song, this time selecting a different playlist. Jake looked at her as if he had seen a ghost. He quickly started the car and drove towards his house, a place she had been trying to avoid for a long time. After a short drive, she spotted his house, a modern house standing among the trees. The one she once knew so well. Jake pulled into the driveway, parking in front of the garage. When he got out, he walked around the car and opened the door, reaching out to Sarah to help her get out. He walked to the door, holding her hand, letting her hand go only for a moment to reach for the keys from his pocket to open the door. When she entered, she immediately looked around, taking in every part of the house, the large living room connected to the beautiful kitchen. The kitchen, it's her heaven on earth, a place where all the walls come down. A place where her emotions get a taste, a place where she connects all these emotions together.

"Could I change into something more comfortable?" Sarah asked after she shook herself from her thoughts. She looked at Jake, "Yes, Sonya will be there soon with clothes for you," he said, that's when she saw her chance. "Jake, I have a question. Why can't I change my clothes now? I don't have any clothes here? We're engaged, right?" She looked at Jake as she said this. That's when all his muscles tensed and his face turned pale.
