Gwen released the shaky grip she had on her phone and placed the device down, its screen down on her comforter that was on her bed before she could finish reading whatever Emma was going to say.
She curled up her legs close to her chest and wrapped her arms around her knees, burying her face in her legs and arms, a big black hoodie with a band on it covering most of her body.
She had mascara dripping from her eyes that she didn't bother cleaning up as tears sprang into her eyes once more, and she curled up tighter into the ball shes put herself in.

The word was stuck in her head, and it just seemed to make her cry more.
She was so in love with Courtney, but what could she do?
Her phone dinged, and she jumped a bit at the sound as it interrupted her thoughts. She lifted her head and wiped her eyes with her hoodie sleeves, going to grab her phone and realizing it was a message from one certain blond.
