Chapter 6: A Plan Is Hatched

and anything is exactly what frieza was thinking, he wasted no time getting to Bardock's home. even he knew something was wrong, as frieza was truly panicking

"Lord Frieza? you- didn't tell anyone you were arriving what happened?"

Bardock asked, now getting concerned himself. after frieza caught his breath he poured over everything that was said to him

"listen, this is going to sound- insane and i get that but for the sake of shima especially you need to trust me. the god of destruction has his sights set on destroying this planet....and he ordered me to destroy it in the meantime while he sleeps. king vegeta has increased his military presence on too many planets and it disrupted balance....and, what's worse...he knows about shima and her birth power level"

frieza explained swiftly and bluntly. bardock was taken aback, he looked inside the house, shima and her mother were sleeping in bed none the wiser of this horrifying threat

"what do you have in mind then? he's probably got someone watching over the place in his stead so- if this is all true, it's either you or him..."

bardock gritted his teeth some

"well-....according to my family, I'm known for the theatrics....so let's put on a show..first spend a while with your family...I'll be in contact with your scouter to explain everything that needs to happen"

frieza stated already forming some thoughts. frieza then went back to his ship ordering his men to make arrangements to summon king vegeta....he was going to have a word with him

Unbeknownst to Frieza someone caught the King up to what had happened, it was likely a simple grunt that had been in the room when Lord Beerus had infiltrated the ship. he was already on the way according to Zarbon's scouter spying

"Sir, King Vegeta is already on the way, if i may make a suggestion to tell whatever plan you have to Bardock now rather than later this is all going to move very fast"

frieza slammed his tail against the ground but then sighed looking down at the ground. Zarbon was right, Frieza would have to give whatever he could to bardock now before the rebellion started. he blipped on his red lensed scouter and made the channel direct

"Bardock, i know you've not taken off your scouter since i left, were going to have to move faster than i anticipated and i don't have a fully formed plan...but, i have enough of one."

frieza began

"I'm all ears then, although based on your tone this isn't going to have a happy ending for me or gine...or most people-..."

Bardock said and looked back at Shima and Gine, Gine being awake having been told everything soon after she woke up, she was prepping already for shima's pod that's about the only thing they gathered would happen is that shima at least would be sent off for safety. Gine had a couple planets in mind and their coordinates written down now deciding between two.

"no-...unless there will be enough pods to get Gine out of there too but once king Vegeta arrives to try to assassinate me, every fighting saiyan on the planet will be at my door and the rest will be trying to leave"

frieza stayed vauge, but bardock wasn't having any of it

"with all due respect my Lord...enough with the vagueness! just tell me what i need to do and I'll get it done, i only care about my wife and kids here..."

"alright, i- get it..."

frieza couldn't even be angry he was actually sad, very sad. he then shook it off, he would have time to be emotional later, he had to get Shima off world safely first he had to get bardock to the front lines

"i need you to join a rebellion, make it look like this whole idea to destroy planet vegeta was my plan alone. warn anyone and everyone you can even if they dismiss you"

frieza explained then continued

"not all of my men know about this fiasco so be prepared to get roughed up if they hear about this, especially by dodoria, but you must stay alive at any cost. after that come to me...by that point gine should be setting shima into her pod."

bardock didn't need an explanation to know what was going to come next but as long as shima could be saved that's all that mattered. raditz was doing military things with prince vegeta and nappa. and kakarot was on earth, perhaps wiping out the inhabitants. meanwhile gine had the same conclusion. she would send shima to earth to be with her brother and then raditz could seek them out later to be reunited.
