{Warnings: Violence/fighting}
~|| Anya P.O.V||~
"Anya, what are you talking about?!" Emile shouts
"I can help" I say, grabbing my old katana and securing it around my waist. The banging on the door continues as the demon is trying to get in
"Anya, you can't-"
"I can and I will" I say looking at my parents "I don't want to lose you all"
"We don't want to lose you either which is why you need to stay with them" Chi-Chi says. I just smile and lead them both over to the group
"They'll be in good hands" I say. This is when the Demon breaks through the barricade. I definitely feel scared, but I push through and pull out the katana
"What kind of weapon is that?" the demon asks
"Let's go" I mutter as I get in a ready stance. I take a deep breath and take off towards the demon, catching him off guard
"Are you a demon slayer?!" he asks
"I was" I shrug. I continue to use my Katana but then, I get tackled by a fox that the demon summoned. I knock it off before it can do too much damage and slash it. It disintegrates as soon as I cut through it and I continue to cut through the foxes that are sent my way.
The others are able to handle themselves and protect the others, but I see the demon sneaking up on them so I use my katana to wrap around his neck and I jump close. He takes notice of this and tries to punch me, which I jump to avoid. This unwraps the katana, but I land in front of the group and slash at him again, knocking him back.
"This is a nice challenge. I haven't had to work this hard in years" the demon states. I continue to lunge at him and I manage to cut his arm off
"Anya... did you just-"
"It'll grow back" I interrupt "It's taking some time though"
"Is it because he's in the sun?" Damian asks. I look at the demon in realization and the demon looks mad, which probably means it's true
"Huh, thank you Damian!" I exclaim before jumping at the demon again. He fights harder than before but I manage to block all of his attacks. Suddenly, a wave of foxes jump at me, and I use one of my more fancy moves to get him. The reaction to this is surprising
"YEAH! GO MITSU-!" someone yells, pausing in the middle of the statement. I stand and look back in shock. It was Damian who said it
"How?" I ask
"I don't... is it really you?" he asks
"Yeah..." I mutter
