CHAPTER 24

Sophie: Hello, Nice to meet you Mr.kim!

"Good afternoon,Miss Raff.It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard a lot about Mr.Raff and his company.I hope he is doing great." Tae addressed her very formally.

"Ahh drop the formalities Mr.kim you can call me Sophie"

"Please, have a seat. Would you like to have a drink?"

Sophie: No, thank you. I'm fine.

Day after the night party:

Everything was back to normal with the same busy life in the office with a bunch of files and  pressure from Mr.kim to complete the collaboration with Jeons company.

The CEO room was cozy he called Jennie to update him.

"Mr.kim you have a meeting setted up this noon with Mr.Junkook"

Where's the meeting?

" At Jeon's Hotel and I think we should start now  it's not that far I informed Mr.lim to get the car ready"

There was a knock on the door before Mr.kim say anything further, a lady dived into the room wearing a flashy sliver bodycon outfit with a matching bag and heels.

"Are you suprised Mr.kim?" Said the lady.

"I wasn't expecting you here Miss Raff" tae said in anticipation.

"Come on Tae,I already told you not to call me Miss Raff it's Sophie dear"

Jennie didn't like the way she addressed Mr.kim and deep down she feels something fishy about her.

Jennie pov:
'Tae' what the heck she thinks of herself.They aren't close either how is she supposed to call him that.Why would I care,it's not my business anyway.

"Would you like to have something sophie"tae asked politely.

"Yeah but definitely not in the office for sure"

"Okay let's go to a nearby café" tae said signalling Jennie to call him.

Jennie understood the assignment and she walked out bowing them.

*Phone ring*

Excuse me!

Sophie blinked in agreement and sat on the chair making herself busy looking down on her phone.

"Hello Mr.charlie. You mean now,should I start the prep" tae excused himself walking towards the frosted glass not so far from her and made sure she was listening.

"Ok I will be there in 10 minutes"

Tae walked back to sophie who was minding her business by giving an expensive aura.

"I am sorry Miss sophie I need to leave for a business meet. Hope to see you in a while" tae spoke in a humble way possible.

"I was expecting a good talk with you but Nevermind Tae,meet you soon I am going to be in the town for a while.If not today definitely see u the other day" she said giving him a gentle hug and proceeded to walk out.

Tae acted to be in a hurry until she left the room.
Jennie who called tae just now was in the cafeteria as she saw sophie leaving the building she rushed to the CEO's office.

*Knock knock*
" Get in! Not bad Miss kim you decoded the sign"
Tae stood as she walked in and both went to the glass to see sophie leaving the premises.

"Thank god she left"

"I thought u liked her"

"What? Never in a million years! I know she is masking herself to be nice around me but I know she is definitely not my type"

"I feel the same,She is really good at faking things and acting to be nice " Jennie thought it was her inner voice but said it out loud.

" Haha" Tae chuckled on her statement

"I am sorry Mr.kim"

"You don't need to be sorry, there is no lie in what you said"

Jennie was surprised by his reaction.
"As per schedule you have a meeting with Mr.Jeon Jungkook"

Yeah, He just texted me.

The meeting was successful and finally Jennie and rosé got a chance to meet Lisa.
They planned to hangout this weekend.

It's been a month now,after the meeting companies decided to work on the overseas market making it more profitable.
Jk's company had nothing much to do as they are investors.The whole burden was on kim's corporation and their hardworking employees.

?: Xavier , where is the shooter?
Xavier: He is in the location sir. I am sure the plan will work.
?: "watching the monitor" come on shoot!
Norman: Shit! Missed.
?: who the hell appointed him that was a close call and easy target still he can't shoot.
Xavier: He the best shooter in the town sir Norman Warner.
?: It's your lucky day Mr.kim Tony be happy just for few more days later hahaha *evil laugh*

I noticed something strange is happening around me and I can't see it Jennie. Tae said looking outside the window in the car.
Jennie was surprised by his words the car was moving with a great pace driver focused on the road while Jennie gave a worried look.

"What made you think this?"
I don't know I can feel something bad coming.
You saw how jungkook was looking at us with those intimidating eyes.
What does he exactly what , I wantedly added lot of rules and conditions to the deal and he just accepted all of them with out a second thought.A business man like him could never do without expecting something in return or?

"Or? " Jennie asked being impulsive.
Chill may be I am just overthinking.I will figure out myself and what's with that hazy face.
Tae replied in plane tone.

Jk: Hello my dear sister.
?: Jk.You have to be more careful.
Jk: What exactly are you taking about?
He stood from his chair by that serious caution.
?: I have to go now just don't get caught when everything is going according to the plan.
* Hanged up the call*
Jk: Tomorrow we are kidnapping -
