Opposites... Attract? (Nathaniel- My Candy Love)

(Day One)

I wandered around the large school, completely lost. When I started out I thought that I knew where I was going but now...

"Young lady!"

My dark green eyes widened and I slowly spun on my heel to face an old woman with mangled hair. Good lord...

"Y-...Yes?"

"Why are you not in class?"

I gulped, my heart beginning to race. Damn anxiety...

"W-Well I... Uh I don't actually go here. Wait, no! I mean, I do go here! But... I..."

"Are you the new student?"

"Yes! That's me!"

Her face suddenly changed to one of happiness and her grey hair seemed to magically fix itself. What?

"Wonderful!" She exclaimed. "I'm the principal of Sweet Amoris High, and you're Jamie, I presume?"

"Correct... I was on my way to finish registration but got a little lost..."

She just nodded before instructing me to follow her as she began leading me to some place in the school.
The principal lady explained that my registration would actually be completed in the student council room.

"Nathaniel will assist you with your registration." She smiled before walking off to do principal things.

Okay...

"Erm... Hello, I'm looking for Nathaniel...?"

A guy with bright blond hair turned around. He wore a white button up shirt, complete with pocket protector and tie, along with khakis.

"I'm Nathaniel," he flashed a smile. "Can I help you?"

Alright Jamie, speak smoothly, don't screw this up. You can do it!

"Uh..."

Damn.

"I'm the new student..."

His golden eyes seemed to light up after I said this and he gave another smile.

"Oh, right. Your registration is complete for the most part, I believe you just need your parents to sign-"

"I can do it."

He stopped and stared at me for a moment. My heart jumped (again) at the thought of explaining my... Situation... Again.

"Well... Actually your parent or legal guardian has to be the one to sign it. It's an emergency contact form."

"I don't have one of those..."

"An emergency contact?"

"A guardian."
