Opposites... Attract? (Nathaniel- My Candy Love)

Lysander decided that I should get some new clothes, so he took my to his brother, my other cousin, Leigh's store. The shop had many styles of clothes, but of course, just like the majority of my family, I was drawn to the more... Weird... Stuff.

"How about these?" Lysander questioned, holding up a pair of black baggy pants with many patches seen into them and different designs; skulls, X's, feathers...

"Oooh, those are great!" I exclaimed. "What do you think of this?"

I showed him a black hoodie with red slash marks and a pair of demon eyes on the back. Lysander smiled.

"I think it would suit you well."

Leigh made his way over to us and smiled at me.

"Jamie, long time no see. Are you finding everything alright?"

"Yeah, I think I'm just gonna find a new pair of boots and call it good... For now..."

"We got some new combat boots over by the coats if you're interested."

"You know me so well."

We all chuckled a bit before Lysander and I made our way over to the combat boots that Leigh mentioned. While we were looking, the door made that familiar 'ding!' sound, signaling a new customer. I didn't think much of it until someone called my name.
Turning, I saw the calm and collected face of Nathaniel smiling at me.

"Nathaniel!" I grinned. "What are you doing here?"

Before he could answer the sound of the fire alarm cut him off.

"Nat!"

Oh never mind it's just Amber.

"I want these jeans!"

Nathaniel sighed and Lysander and I shared a look of 'Christ has left us here'

"Give me a minute..." He sighed. "So Jamie, what are you doing here? With... Lysander..."

"Ah, just looking around for some new clothes and such. I need new boots."

Amber started whining again before Nathaniel and I could continue our conversation. We said our goodbyes, I picked out some combat boots, Leigh gave me a discount, and we left.

On the way home though, Lysander explained that the school was holding a weird race thing. An 'Orienteering race' I think.

Lysander already had a partner, so I would have to find one on Monday. The race would be on Tuesday. He said Castiel didn't have a partner yet, so I'll probably just ask him, since I don't really know anyone else.

'I wonder if Nathaniel has a partner...'
