My name is Elizabeth Octavia Florence, I'm 17 years old and last year I fell in love with Jameson Winchester Hawthorne. And it cost me everything.

About two years ago I found myself in Heights Country Day School, which happened to be the root of where this all started.

My Mother is the founder of a large car company, when I say large I mean large. It wasn't always this way, it took her 23 years to make this business kick off. When I was born we had nothing.

My Mother worked hard to get her business where it is, for not only herself but for her children who often didn't have enough money for food in the mornings. She worked her ass off to branch out the business into more. It was only last year when she got a huge opportunity to expand the business which ended up working out for the best. We moved from New York to Texas when Mom got her first pay check. We enrolled at a private school and moved into a mansion.

My parents always seemed happy, they never argued but they also never spoke. I didn't really pick up that anything was off until one night Dad left the House and I didn't see him for a few weeks. He never came back, he got his own house with the small amount of money he had saved, he turned to drugs and alcohol. I hated him for it.

Whilst all of that was going on, I was unlucky enough to cross paths with one Jameson Hawthorne. He and his girlfriend Emily Laughlin made my life hell. I thought he was awful until I got paired with him for a chemistry project.

Things changed when we were working on that project and I realised I liked him. We became friends, I joined him, his brother Grayson and Emily every time they did something until eventually we all got along like civilised friends.

We were at a party months later, one thing led to another. Before I knew it things were complicated between us, too awkward to keep things platonic. Emily was always possessive, so even when Jameson and her broke up she still felt furious that I was with him.

Things happened, Emily ended up dead. I ended up moving away from Texas with my Mother and siblings to New York.

I decided to take my mind off all the shit I went through by writing music again, it had been a while since i'd actually played anything to anyone. 

I started out with a couple songs but then songs just flowed out of me and suddenly I had an album, I uploaded a song to social media after blocking the Hawthorne's and all connections I had to them. The video of my song blew up and within days I was being contacted by hundreds of record labels trying to sign me.

I signed for a pretty big company and they helped me put my debut album. Fans went crazy and before I knew it some of my songs were top of the charts, my album had millions of plays, i was seeing my face around billboards. 

Right now I have 26 million instagram followers – which is a million more than Jameson thank you very much. Not to mention 6.58 million youtube subscribers, 11 million followers on tiktok and 39 million monthly listeners on Spotify. My first album has been nominated for several awards. 

Everything felt so surreal and I kept writing, the words always seeming to flow out of me. My agent informed me I would be going on a world tour for the album. It was insane.
