Having the front row seat to watch 3 people quarrel on what they should do was really funny. Sadly for the sake of plot I decided to skip it.
So here is what is happening; in front of us is a dagon with all its glory which Nanami prepares to fight it but Naobito beats him in a race by trapping it within a frame and lands a blow. The blow forces Dagon to spit up a ton of bones which Naobito wonders just how many people Dagon had eaten.
Maki: just how many humans did he eat.
Nanami: focus!!
Ultima: 'oh boy did eat 156 humans' but this feeling is awakening into its true form.

Dagon could produce massive waves of water without a source of it, generating it from his cursed energy alone. After outputting large volumes of water, Dagon could draw it back in and devour any victims struggling to swim. That was one of the base abilities and considering the situation these morons are in, they are as good as dead.
But why would dagon not do that? Of course he tried it, but failed to drown his opponent.
