"Why hello there. Have you finally come to your senses? Huh, Leif?"

My body was trembling, wanting to look away but couldn't. Was this really Leif? But, I thought he always stayed in his wolf form.. why is he here right now like this? As much as I was saying that there was no way that this could be Leif, there were many similarities between the wolf Leif and this man that I have now seen.

He had beautiful hair that ran down towards the middle of his back. His eyes sparkled in the small amount of light that had been shown down here. Not to mention, he had a nice build as well considering all I ever saw him do was lay around. Not gonna lie, if I hadn't known he was a wolf, I might just as have tried my shot with him.

The room had fallen with mostly silence, Leif not even looking my way. The light growls under his lips were the only thing I could hear. It was clear that his mind was preoccupied with the man chained up. Slowly turned my attention to him as well. Turning his eyes to mine, a smirk started appearing on his face. Why would he be looking at me like that??

After seeing his facial expressions, I slowly moved myself being Leif a bit, mumbling to myself; "Arrogant Bastard..."

The wolf's ears flickered, chains rattling as he was speaking out to me; "Pup, get me out of these chains now. It's a direct order. And after that, we could have our own little bit of fun~"

It had felt as if my body had been struck by lightning, feeling the shivers that went down my spine. My eyes shifted from his eyes towards the stairs, needing to make a break for it. I couldn't stay down in this basement any longer with these two wolves. Rushing to the stairs I climbed up then, skipping every other step to reach the top quicker. After around 6 steps, my feet reached the top. Rushing into the only room I had known to be free. That room happened to be the room I was staying in. Quickly, I rushed to grab my luggage. I couldn't stay in this place they call a house any longer.

At times like this, I wish there weren't so many different outfits for the different seasons. However, it wasn't like I could afford to get rid of some of these outfits. I wasn't gonna fall as low as the people in this town, not wearing what was not in style. The luggage had been quite heavy while hauling it out of the bedroom door.

Taking my luggage with me, I headed for the wooden door, swinging it open to leave. It was dark with the light of the moon shining through, lighting up parts of the land. It was a cold night, hearing the crickets chirping in what others would describe as a peaceful night. The quiet night was disturbed by the wheels of my luggage rolling on the gravel path. The sound almost was like the horse shows when they had been walking on the gravel. Just denser and louder in my ears. Upon hearing this, sound, I was worried that the wolves living in this house would soon find out that I was leaving their small, falling-apart house.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket, calling the only one I knew could help me somewhat in this situation. Of course, I hadn't liked These wolf creatures but I was destined to just get out of there. With this thought in mind, I scrolled down a few of the numbers in my phone, clicking on Zane's number. Thankfully with him being able to help me get passed Caleb's password block, the call easily went through to the other side. All I could hope for at that moment was that he'd pick up the phone.

It kept ringing as I got farther away. One ring turned into two. Two turned into three. It felt like the tone of the ringing was never going to end. The call had been about to go to voicemail by the amount of rings that had come. About to hang up the call, it had finally gone through. Quickly looking around for a place to hide, I went into the forest that was near and hid behind a few of the trees as I started talking to Zane.

"Zane, I need your help getting out of here. I need you to drive me to the airport and buy me a ticket back to San Francisco. I can't stay in this house any longer. That wolf is trying to do things to me!" I said in a whisper screaming tone. I hadn't wanted to alert others who may try and send me back to that house.

I hadn't gotten much of a response from Zane other than a what... What!? This wasn't the time for these games. My life and virginity are on the line and all I get is a "what?" Does he not care about me maybe getting molested!?

"What do you mean by that!? I need you to get me out of here and to the airport so I can get to my grandmothers" I said whispering again. Since my dad didn't want me to be in his life anymore, the only place I could go to knowing I would be accepted was my grandmother's. Grandma always for the win

"You realize it's 3 am in the morning..?" Said in a grumpy and serious tone over the phone. The tired sounds of a wolf wakened from their slumber.

It was starting to bug me... All these wolves were out of their minds, caring only about themselves and their own pleasures... Wanting to do whatever he wanted with my body, violating it. His fingers sensitively running down my chest, touching every part of my body he'd be able to get his hands on. It made my body shiver all the way down to my fingertips just thinking about what might have happened if I had stayed in that basement any longer.

"Fine.. Forget I even called," I said not going into any further detail. I hung up the phone right after, getting ready to go back on the road. The wheels rolled along the stone of gravel, disturbing the night silence once again on their journey. Without the help of the only wolf he may have been able to escape with, he was now on his own. He had to figure it out. How he was going to get back to San Francisco.

Having now figured out that he was on his own for this journey. The only problem was not knowing the land well enough. While walking, I was able to see one of the dirt paths that had been created. It had to lead somewhere into the small town.

Leif's POV

It had been a long time since I had been back in this form. Cowering into my wolf form, I hadn't dared to transform back. It had almost felt like a dream to be standing here on two legs without having to keep my balance with my hind legs. Not to be covered in fur all over. Huge ears and a bushy tail that would get in the way of some. It felt nice to not have to watch my every step.

Even so, I didn't have much time to enjoy it. I have a chained-up wolf on my hands. Stepping closer to him, only being maybe 5 centimeters apart. I had crouched down, coming to his level. While doing so, never once had we broken eye contact with one another. It was almost as if we were looking inside one another, seeing who would break it off first. However, it wasn't much longer it had lasted, having spit thrown on my face

A low growl came, vibrating from my neck. I leaned in closer, speaking out to him upon his behavior: "That was one dirty trick you pulled... Spitting on your own brother? Haven't you fallen low?"

Seeing his mouth moved as he chuckled, not even trying to hide what he had thought to be a hilarious moment. If anything, The volume had gotten louder. It almost felt as if he had lost his mind

Heh, says the one that had fallen after your wife died. You were stuck in that wolf form forever. I never thought you would turn back. So defenseless and helpless. You know, I almost felt bad that my brother was so lost without her, he said, purposely. He knew what he was doing at this moment, staring right at me as if he had won. I cant lie and say that his words hadnt bothered me. However, I wasnt going to let him win.

Before you say anything about my fucked up love life, maybe you should worry about your own love life. That mate of yours, hes scared of you. All youre doing is scaring him deeper in the hole of no return, I said, trying to get through to him. It hadnt felt like he was listening to anything I was saying, just staring at me, having a smug look.

Well, that wont matter soon when he will take my knot. When he does, we will leave this stupid town and return to the wood where we belong. Nobody will be able to take him once we leave, not even you, Leif."
