Phantom was currently with the other ghouls watching a movie. He had been slipping into little space all day and now that his sleepiness was catching up with him it was getting harder to stay big.

During an intense scene, Phantom gets extremely nervous and starts scratching himself. It was a bad habit of his that always ended up with him crying from pain if no one noticed. Normally, his claws would be filed down so he wouldn't bleed but they weren't so he ended up bleeding a bit.

Rain was sitting next to the ghoul and noticed this though and grabbed Phantom's arm placing it in his lap to prevent him from scratching his other arm which was littered with lots of scars and cuts already. Rain was silently hoping that Phantom wouldn't resort to scratching his legs with the other hand and lucky for him Phantom's brain was slipping super fast now making him feel all mushy as he couldn't think about anything but his Rainy.

Phantom let out a soft grunt and whine which quickly got Rain and some of the other ghoul's attention. Rain cooed at him realizing he was at the brink of little space and carefully picked Phantom up and walked out of the common room saying his goodbyes and gently kissing Mountain's head, Mountain giving Phantom some head scratches. Rain chuckled at Mountain who seemed half asleep and ruffled Mountain's hair before leaving.

Phantom whined trying to wiggle out of Rain's grasp as he was taken away from the comfort of his pack. Rain cooed at the other ghoul gently kissing their head.

"Why don't we go to my room and take care of that arm of yours? Then we can get into some pajamas and cuddle, Hmm baby bat?"

Phantom's tail wiggled faster causing Rain to chuckle at the ghoul's excitement.

Once they got to Rain's room Rain got Phantom dressed in a soft bat onesie that was Phantom's favorite when little. Rain laid Phantom down on his bed letting the ghoul roll around on the bed and purr as he happily sniffed Rain's bed hoping it would tire him out. Rain got dressed into a stingray onesie that was one of his favorites that Phantom got him in the meantime.

After they were dressed Rain scooped Phantom up again and grabbed Phantom's bat stuffed animal named Missy and took him to his bathroom, plopping Phantom onto the counter as he got out the first aid he kept in there. Rain rolled up Phantom's sleeve and carefully inspected the scratches. There was blood, quite a lot of it, enough to make the poor ghoul feel dizzy.

Rain sighed as he grabbed the disinfecting wipes and cleaned the blood and scars. Phantom whined at the sting and clung onto Missy as he started crying, Missy's wing was in his mouth and he bit down on it. Rain cooed at Phantom and shushed him gently kissing the ghoul's forehead.

"Oh baby bat~ Shhh, I know I know baby it hurts but this will help you. It's gonna keep it nice and clean and won't hurt again later."

Rain finished disinfecting Phantom's arm and carefully started wrapping it up. Once finished he kissed Phantom's arm and started putting some bandaids on Phantom's claws.

"This will do for tonight so you don't scratch yourself. Tomorrow we can go to the ghoulettes and we'll get your claws filed down and some other stuff."

Phantom let out a happy trill and Rain smiled as he picked Phantom up and brought him back to his bedroom. Rain laid Phantom down on his bed and Phantom happily curled up.

"I need to go get your bottle do you wanna go with me or stay here baby bat?" Rain asked as he ruffled Phantom's hair getting his attention.

"Dada..." Phantom mumbled and looked back at Rain his arms out for Rain to carry him. Rain chuckled and lifted Phantom gently kissing their cheek as they made their way to the kitchen.

In the common room, the ghouls were still watching the movie. Some of the ghouls who were half asleep, like Mountain, when Rain left with Phantom had fallen asleep already.

Rain quietly went over to the kitchen and grabbed Phantom's bottle and a mug. Rain poured some milk into the mug and mixed some sugar in it. He then put the mug in the microwave and gently kissed Phantom's nose and face as he waited, making the quintessence ghoul who was half asleep as well purr. Once the timer went off Rain grabbed the mug out of the microwave and poured it into the bottle for Phantom.

Rain carried Phantom back to his bedroom with the bottle in his other hand. Once in Rain's bedroom Rain grabbed Phantom's pacifier and laid down with Phantom. Rain nudged the nipple of the bottle into Phantom's mouth and Phantom started drinking it.

Rain smiled at the quintessence ghoul that had ended up falling asleep halfway through the bottle. Rain wiped Phantom's mouth and chin and nudged their pacifier in Phantom's mouth.

The two ghouls cuddled together, Phantom had Missy tucked under his chin as he softly purred into Rain's chest. Rain started up his own purr as he slipped his eyes shut, the sleepiness taking over both their bodies. Rain's heartbeat and purr lulled Phantom into a nice dream and with the comfort of knowing Phantom was safe Rain fell asleep with the ghoul curled up by his chest.
