This is a song started off as a poem I wrote in November 2022. That's what makes up the chorus and I didn't bother altering any of that. I think it's okay the way it already is and you guys seemed to like the poem sooo no need to change a single word 🥲 So I wrote a whole song referencing back to the poem!

I wanted to highlight harsh realities with the lyrics and how anything can go wrong at any given second, but despite that you must still withhold some hope to get through until you can finally reunite with said friend who is struggling. I wish I was in the mood to go into detail but it's been an overwhelming, tense past 2 days and I'm lacking motivation to discuss the depthness of lyrics at the moment. I apologize ❤‍🩹
