A Versace Trance

Chapter 2.

The following week, Stray Kids had a free schedule. They all agreed to stay home and get anything they needed to do done. Having time to relax, the eight were finally enjoying a free day after weeks of non-stop promotions and performances. 

Once they all completed their work, the members gathered in the living room to have a movie marathon. Chattering and laughing, Hyunjin felt a sense of relief, and all the stress that was on his shoulders had disappeared. 

'What genre should we watch?' Chan asked, gazing at his doesangs.

'Rom-Com!'
'Horror!'
'Thriller!'

'Let's go with Rom-Com.' Chan decided, searching for a movie, and pressed play.

The eight were only 20 minutes into the movie, when Hyunjin's phone started ringing, interrupting the peaceful scene.
'Who would be calling you at such a romantic moment?' Han moaned.

He glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was an unknown number. Changbin and Lee Know, the curious ones of the group, insisted that he answer it, so he reluctantly did.

'Hello?' Hyunjin answered, uncertain of who could be calling him.

'Is this Hyunjin from Stray Kids?' the voice on the other end asked.

Hyunjin hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should trust such a call. Last time he was fooled by an anonymous person.
His heart skipping a beat, he confirmed that it was indeed him. The unknown caller revealed herself to be Mrs. Giovanna, the owner of Versace. Hyunjin couldn't believe it. The fashion icon, known for her impeccable taste and high-end brand, knew who he was?

Mrs. Giovanna went on to explain how she had been noticing Hyunjin's charming looks online from photoshoots and concerts, and she was impressed. She wanted to extend an offer for him to come and work with her, representing Versace. Hyunjin was stunned. This was an opportunity of a lifetime, and he couldn't believe it was happening to him.

'Are you willing to take this opportunity?' Changbin whispered.
Hyunjin covered the speaker, before replying, 'Of course! It's meant to be!'

Without hesitation, he accepted the offer, thanking Mrs. Giovanna for the opportunity. After she cut the call, Hyunjin couldn't contain his excitement. He shared the news with his fellow members, who all cheered and congratulated him. Chan, the leader of Stray Kids, gave him words of encouragement and told him how proud he was of him.

As the night went on, Hyunjin found it hard to sleep. His mind was racing with thoughts of this amazing opportunity. He couldn't believe his dreams were about to come true. After an hour of tossing and turning, he finally dozed off with a smile on his face.

The following morning, Hyunjin woke up to the sound of his alarm, feeling more energized than ever. He quickly got ready and headed out to attend a meeting with Mrs. Giovanna and her team. As he walked into the Versace headquarters, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. He was about to work for one of the biggest fashion brands in the world.

'Good morning, colleagues. We have a new person joining our team today. Please welcome Mr Hwang Hyun-jin.
As the models applauded him, Hyunjin took a seat, smiling ear to ear.
'At Versace Headquarters, we urge to strive for the best. Each model has their own little talent, but here, we create more. Take for instance, Miss Tora.
Tora stood up politely, walking to the front beside Mrs Giovanna. Hyunjin took great notice of her walk.
'Tora had only joined our team a few weeks ago, but take a look at her now. Hair is stunning, eyes are glistening, and her figure is magnificent. As a gift for joining, I grant each member a little power. Tora, if you please.'
