A Versace Trance

Chapter 8.

"Like.. One minute?!" I.N answered, not even believing himself. Before the seven could even react, a loud thud was produced from the roof of the car.
Immediately, the leader pressed the brakes and unbuckled his seatbelt, followed by his doesangs.
"What was that..." Han whispered.
They came out of the inflicted vehicle to see the enormous damage that had been done.
"How does someone or something create such damage?!" Changbin exclaimed.

"I wonder too, Changbin." A voice called out. Instantly, they turned around, and saw Hyunjin standing behind them.

"Jinnie! Are you okay?" Felix asked worryingly as his hyung cackled. "I feel better than ever, Felix, and maybe you will too."
"Hyunjin, your boss has done something to you. You have to snap out of it!" Chan insisted.
"The only thing she's done is shape me into a more powerful being. Aren't you happy for me, Chan?" he said, tilting his head with a smile.
The seven sane members took a step back, afraid that he might attack them. Contradicting himself, Felix took a step forward, gazing at Hyunjin with determined eyes. "Jinnie, look at me. Don't obey her."
The verb ticked his brain.

Obey.

His eyes began to twitch rapidly as he collapsed to the ground. Chan and Felix rushed up to Hyunjin, oblivious to the power within him.

"What happened to you?"
The hyung turned to lay on his back as he groaned, his veins bulging with a radiant indigo. "Help... me..." he muttered, grabbing onto his neck.
"What's going on with him, Chris?' Felix exclaimed.
"She's taking control... Lix...'"
"Mrs Giovanna?" the Aussies asked in unison.
"She's... sent me... to come for..."
"For?"

They begged him to ignore whatever was controlling him, but Mrs. Giovanna's power was too strong. Hyunjin's eyes suddenly opened, and they were no longer his usual warm brown colour. Instead, they were a chilling purple, a sign that Mrs. Giovanna had taken over.

"Hyunjin, you can't let her take control. Just listen to me." Felix begged his hyung, but his words no longer meant anything to him.
He let out an evil chuckle as he got up from the ground, his body still trembling. The other members were taken aback by this sudden change in their friend. They tried to reason with him, but he was beyond their reach. And just then, out of his authority, he attacked Felix, sending the maknae flying across the road from the unusual strength.
"FELIX!" They exclaimed.

The members were shocked and horrified at what had just happened. Hyunjin was their friend, their brother, and now he was acting like a complete stranger. They quickly rushed to Felix's aid, who fainted from the impact. Lee Know, Seungmin, and Changbin tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond.
"Could you quit attacking us?!" Lee Know demanded, whilst assessing Felix.
Meanwhile, Chan and Han went to Hyunjin, who was now making his way towards I.N. They could see the struggle in his eyes as he fought against Mrs. Giovanna's control. Just as he was about to attack I.N, he suddenly dropped to the ground, unconscious.

The three members quickly rushed to his aid, trying to wake him up. Chan noticed the purple veins that were bulging out of Hyunjin's neck and a small microchip attached to the back of it. He knew that this was Mrs. Giovanna's doing, and it was impossible to remove. "His veins.." I.N muttered. "How could a simple perfume affect someone like this?"

"I.. I don't know, I.N." Chan answered, inspecting the infected doesang in front of him. "For now, we'll tie him up, take him home and... see what we can do from there."

Spasmodically, Hyunjin awakened, his eyes back at a normal state. "Chan..." he whispered, wincing in pain.
"I'm here, Jinnie. Everything's going to be okay." The leader helped Hyunjin sit up, before he began to speak, though his words were quite slurred.
"Giovanna... she sprayed som... forced... hurt you..."
"I can't understand what you're saying, Hyunjin. She's forcing you to hurt us?"
Painfully, he nodded. "Hyung... help me..."
Chan tutted as he began wrapping Hyunjin with the rope they had brought. He felt guilty having to treat his own member like a criminal, but they had to be safe.
Exhaustion overwhelmed Hyunjin, causing him pass out again. Using the spare time they had while the doesang was tame, they carefully carried him into the boot of their car, followed by the rest of the group who buckled themselves in.
At that time, Felix had woken up, but he felt off.
