NEXT DAY

*I woke up a little late than usual. Wow I actually slept in today. It was 10 am. Normally my mom or dad would wake me up by dragging me out of the bed if I slept too late. No brutal waking today? They must have gone to work early*
YN: Thank God for that.
*I streched my arms over my head and got up. I opened my windows and looked down at our driveway. Yeah, the car isn't here. They must have left. I adjusted my pants and grabbed my phone. I was checking my messages when I saw someone sent me a text. It was lee know. He was basically asking me to bring his notes which he.... accidently left in my bag? ( RED FIVE DIAMONDS IN MY BAG. Stan (G)-IDLE for a better life y'all) okay since my parents are not here, I better hurry. I showered,changed my clothes, brushed my teeth, did some makeup,  ate some breakfast and took his notes. He told me to see him at Seoul Metropolitan Police Department? Umm that's a weird place to meet. But I agreed and headed over there. I got it. Hwaiting.

AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT

*This building is HUGE. I always wondered about it. I never saw the inside before. I texted him letting him know I was there and he wants me to come INSIDE? I didn't know it was allowed. He better know what he's talking about. It's very risky for me to be here. If they see one tiny bruise then it's off to be interrogated for me*
YN: Oh boy
*I took a deep breath and entered the building*
*Once I entered, I instantly got chills. Every single person there was either a citizen reporting a crime or officers in a shiny badge and a uniform. I felt like a lamb walking into the lion's den. I saw Lee know by the reception. He smiled and approached me*
LEE KNOW: Yn, hey! Glad you didn't got lost.
YN: Of course I didn't get lost..... Why did you want to meet here?
LEE KNOW: Oh, my dad is a police chief. He is the boss here. I came in today to help him with some things. When I grow up I'm gonna be a police officer or maybe a chief like him! That's my dream.
*Of course he's dad is a police officer. OF COURSE HE IS. That just makes my situation way worse.
YN: Wow That's great!*Smile* I want to be a doctor. Surgeon, in other words.
LEE KNOW: Hey, we'd both be the part of emergency hotlines. I'll be a part of 112 and you'll be 119.
YN: Yes lee know I know how the numbers work here.
*I handed him the notes*
LEE KNOW: Thanks. I thought you can't come out on weekends?
YN: Yeah, I can't But I requested my parents I'll be back as soon as possible. So I better head back now.
LEE KNOW: Oh okay. See you on Monday.....
YN: Yup, Bye.
*He smiled warmly and patted my head. His dazzling eyes pierced my soul in a warm way. My stomach just did backflips. That tickled, but that never happened to me before. MAYBE CAUSE IM SICK?? NO NO I CAN'T BE SICK. I tried my best to hide my sickness. My face started to heat up. OH MY DO I HAVE A FEVER? I turned and ran away like a kid*

Okay just a context regarding the numbers. For example here in America we use 911 as an emergency hotline regarding any single unit. So we'd call 911 for police, fire and medical. But as my story is taking place in Korea, so I'm using Korean form of emergency hotlines. 119 is for fire and medical while 112 is for police. Just for those who are confused.

*Holy shit.. my parents are home. Their car is here. I gulped back my fear and slowly approached the door. I'm too scared to even walk in. Did they noticed that I'm not home? Are they going to be mad over it? Oh my- what I'm thinking of course they will be mad. They are mad for everything. They are my parents afterall. I slowly opened the door*
YN: Mom? Dad? I'm home.
MOM: YN GET HERE RIGHT INSTANT
*I could hear them in the kitchen*
YN: Y-yes ma'am
*I walked in and closed the door behind me. Before I could even enter into the kitchen they both walked into the foyer with me. I couldn't even speak before my mom slapped me across my face*
MOM: YOU SNUCK OUT?!!
YN: That wasn't my intention-
DAD: LIAR.....YOU PROBABLY SNUCK OUT TO SEE THAT BOY!!
YN: N-N-No I didn't.
MOM: Wait....what's that smell
*My mom sniffed near me, aggressively*
MOM: You smell like cologne!!
DAD: HA, I KNEW IT She's a big sl*t. SHE SNUCK OUT TO PROBABLY HAVE S*X WITH HIM!!!
YN: NO I DIDN'T!!!
MOM: AND NOW YOU'RE RAISING YOUR VOICE AT YOUR OWN PARENTS? SUCH A SHITY BRAT YOU ARE!!
DAD: She's worse than I thought. We can't keep her in that school. She'll just get us in trouble and ruin our reputation.
YN: W-What?
MOM: You're right, bitches like her either need to be homeschooled or sent to the juvenile institution.
*Going to school is my only freedom. I can't go anywhere, but school. If I am being homeschooled, then I would be stuck with these dicks 24/7. I don't want that*
DAD: If she wasn't born, it would be easier.
MOM: Right
YN: Please don't pull me out of school. I love school
DAD: You have no say so. You're just gonna wh*re around if you stay any longer.
*But if I'm out of the school.... I might never see Seungmin again..... And I won't be able to see lee know again... I can't let that happen*
YN: No
MOM: What did you say?
YN: I said NO. I'm not going anywhere. I'm not leaving my school. It's the only place where I'm free. *Firm*
MOM: YOU ARE A DISAPPOINTMENT! YOU THINK YOU HAVE A CHOICE?!
YN: What are you gonna do about it? Beat me? Go ahead there's nothing new.
MOM: Ughhh, I hate you!! I should have given you to adoption instead.
YN: Agreed
DAD: You bitch
*He took off his belt and started to whack me with it. My mom grabbed the closest thing to her which was a metal statue. They both began to hit and beat me and made sure to pass me "nice" comments*
MOM: You think you're life means anything to us!!? You're worthless, you're nothing but waste of air and space!!
DAD: You're not gonna find anyone to take you in!! No one gives a damn about you!! Not even your aunt or your fake friends!
*I can't take it anymore.... I have to leave, I have to leave before I commit any crime*

LEE KNOW POV (AT DEPARTMENT)

*I tried to resist the urge to touch her. No no Lee minho don't touch her. Don't overstep the boundaries. At last, I can't help but smile and pat her head. She has a really soft hair. I was expecting her to push me away, but to my surprise..... She didn't. Instead she just stood there... allowing it. Her face turned red and sbe looked like a tomato. She was shocked. I didn't noticed it before but she is.... Actually cute. She turned around and ran away like a kid got her favourite doll. I guess she got flustered... Should I follow her? I guess I shouldn't, but if I didn't, how will I come to know if she's actually suffering?*
LEE KNOW: Hey Lily
*I went to the receptionist*
LILY: Yes?
LEE KNOW: I'll be right back. I've got some business to handle.
LILY: Okay, will do
LEE KNOW: Thanks

AFTER A BIT OF FOLLOWING

*I drove there by myself. Yn walked home so it was easy to follow her. I'm not trying to scare her though, so I kept a distance. Good thing I got my licence recently. I watched her approaching this mansion. I parked down the road, but used binoculars to watch her. My jaw dropped automatically*
LEE KNOW: Holy fuck, her house is huge. She wasn't kidding.
*She hesitated infornt of the door, like she didn't wanted to enter. But she slowly caring opened the door and entered inside, closing the door behind her. Once she entered inside, I pulled up closer. I parked my car right infront of her house and used my binoculars to look inside. It wasn't like I was spying-... Kinda. Her entrance doors were practically see-through. I could see her standing on the other side of doors. She had wide clear windows on both the doors. Her parents approached her*
LEE KNOW: Oh now I see where she gets her looks from. Her parents are beautiful people-
*My words instantly caught in my throat when I saw her mother slap YN   Woah what did Yn do? Oh- it's just keeps getting worse. At first her parents were yelling at her but then when she started to talk back, she earned a full blown beating from them. Her father used a belt and get mother used some kind of statue. They kept yelling while whacking her. My hands began to tremble. I wanted to go and stop it and protect her. But I can't instead I would make it worse. I can't believe it.......my instincts were right..... She is being abused by her parents..... For the first time in my life I didn't wanted to be right. I left the place and drived to home thinking how to help her*
