hundred million kilometers away from our own celestial body lies Venus, known as the hottest planet in our solar system. In Roman mythology, Venus is affiliated with the Goddess of love and beauty. Referred to as the morning and evening star due to its visibility in the vast galaxy, Venus holds a significant place in our understanding of celestial bodies.

The term 'morning star' is also attributed to a proud being who fell from heaven—Lucifer, a fallen angel who rebelled against God, representing anything dark. In contrast to the associations of love and beauty with Venus, Lucifer embodies a different symbolism altogether.

Here on Earth, the embodiment of these celestial entities takes shape in humans, reflecting the contrasting essence of both the morning star, Venus, and the morning star, Lucifer. Human nature intertwines the allure of beauty, love, and the temptations of darkness, echoing the dichotomy found within these celestial beings.

Blood.

Cries.

Bodies lay everywhere, amid the continuing gallop of horses' hooves. Yet, he paid no heed, his gaze fixed forward, carrying a heavy void in his eyes—a void that had long devoured the stars within them.

He had grown accustomed to it all—the splatter of blood on his face, armor, and the blade of his sword, each etched with the blood of countless individuals, be they innocent or not.

Amidst the battlefield, cries of children echoed, their fates uncertain.

Bodies littered the ground—once friends, foes, or just unfortunate souls caught in the turmoil of war.

Soon, he reached the boundaries of their territory. Disembarking from his horse, his remaining comrades greeted him with utmost respect, yet he brushed past them, making a beeline for his private chambers.

General Lee Minho, the bravest warrior of the Kingdom of Levanter—everyone, from the common folk to their mothers, praised him for safeguarding the kingdom. But did he share the same sentiments about himself?

The answer was a resounding no. Minho felt as if he dwelled in hell every day. The cries of those he had slain haunted his mind incessantly, his hands stained with an unerasable legacy of blood. It was a torment—a self-imposed punishment for all his deeds on the battlefield. He had begun to see himself as a demon.

Until one day...

The Kingdom of Levanter and the Kingdom of Clé forged a treaty. During the ceremony, he encountered someone who illuminated the dark void within him—a sea of stars seemed to glitter in his eyes.

The Prince of Clé, Han Jisung.

He was simply beautiful, a presence that could brighten everything around him. Like a celestial body above, he was a star that shone so brilliantly—a morning star.

But Minho was a different kind of morning star—a fallen one, cast from heaven and condemned to endure hell, at least in his own perception.

He had convinced himself that he couldn't admire someone as pure and lovely as the prince, so full of love. At least, that's what he believed.

Until...

The prince approached him, driven by genuine kindness. A friendship sprouted between them, akin to the birth of a new star destined to shine brightly in the future. That friendship swiftly blossomed into something deeper, evolving into a clandestine relationship between them.

A secret liaison with the potential to significantly impact both kingdoms—for better or worse.

One day, duty called the general to another war. He bid farewell to the prince with a kiss, the latter urging him to return safely.

That moment marked the dimming of their radiant star.

The prince tossed and turned in bed as news failed to arrive regarding the general's safe return from war. Eventually, a courtier summoned him to the kingdom's gates.

He shouldn't have gone.

Approaching the gate, the prince sensed something amiss amid the gathering crowd. With an uneasy heart, he pushed through the throng and fell to his knees upon arrival, his heart aching as tears streamed down his face.

Before him lay the decapitated head of the general impaled on a spear—a clear threat from other kingdoms. Aware of the treaty between the Kingdom of Levanter and the Kingdom of Cle, other kingdoms had joined forces to challenge the two kingdoms.

They succeeded; the strongest warrior of the Kingdom of Levanter, General Lee, had fallen.

General Lee was finally liberated from his hell, his years of torment and punishment ending only when he encountered the one meant for him—the prince, his brightest star.

It unfolded as a bitter love story. The once bright morning star turned dark, losing all the light that once radiated from him, transforming into an evening star.

Eventually, fate reunited the two in the expansive cosmos, now shining brightly as actual stars. Together, they formed a scorpion-like shape with other celestial bodies, becoming what we now recognize as the Scorpius constellation. Currently, Venus resides within it, as of January 04, 2024.
