"Okay Emma, you got this, nothing to worry about" she said to herself and took a deep breath as she stood in front of the mirror in her bathroom

She had been private schooled since elementary school, she's currently 17 and will be going in eleventh grade

It's October currently, and her parents decided to finally let her in public school

Which Emma was thrilled about, but also anxious, very very anxious..

"Emma come on honey! You'll be late!" Her mother Nicole shouted from the kitchen to her daughter

Who quickly went down stairs and smiled at her parents "thanks for taking me" Emma said as they went to the car

Her father Jeremy smiled "of course, it's no big deal" Emma nodded and sat in the car, they listened to some music

And a couple of minutes later they finally arrived, her sister Isabel was sitting in the backseat listening to music on her own

They got out of the car, seeing all the kids there, staring at her, giving her weird looks, some pointing at the
'new kid'

Emma started to calm herself down,
telling herself that, '𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘮𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴! 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴!'

Jeremy saw how anxious his daughter was, Isabel did too as they walked to get Emma's classes

"Hi, we're new here, well my daughter is, and we'd like to get her schedule" Jeremy said to the woman behind the counter

"Hello Emma, welcome to our school" the brunette just nodded, not knowing what to say

Couple of seconds later she got a paper with her classes on it, they thanked the woman and walked away

"Don't worry, you'll be fine here, okay?" Jeremy said and Emma just nodded to her father

Who gave her a soft smile before walking away and back to his car..

"Come on, seems like you have biology at first" Isabel said and pulled her sister with her

Isabel wasn't popular, she had a normal friend group, nothing fancy.

The bell rang and students began to scatter around, going to class, Isabel showed Emma where to go

"Go in, you'll be fine, if somethings wrong text me" Emma nodded and her sister hugged her tightly, then gave her a warm smile before walking to her class

Emma took a really deep breath before finally going in the classroom, the kids staring at her, looking confused

She wanted to turn around and leave immediately "ah! You're our new student! Everyone this is Emma, she's new here, welcome her warmly, I'm your biology teacher, Mrs. Evelyn"

Emma nodded "go sit down in the back, it's the only seat left" the brunette said nothing, looked at the woman

Then walked to her seat without saying a word, she sat down, took her notebook out and her pencil case

Her leg bouncing up and down
"Could you please stop that?" Emma looked at the girl next to her, dark brown hair

Dark brown eyes, small but cute.. Yes cute, Emma is in fact bisexual, she figured it out in eight grade

The girl pointed at her leg, and she stopped bouncing her leg immediately
"Sorry, I'm just anxious" the girl smiled

"Don't be, I don't bite, some people do bite in this class, weird but, I'm not one of those" the girl said with a little smile on her face
