Chapter 1 - Where Am I? (Updated)

"The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. (L/N). Wake up and smell the ashes".

I opened my eyes and the first thing I heard was birds chirping and some crickets, y'know sounds of nature. I sit up and looked around where I was.

(Y/N): Okay... I'm in the middle of some forest area.
(I thought to myself)

Maybe this is some part or the map I was playing... But that doesn't make sense, why was my character not teleport there, what was that orb inside the diner and lastly, how the fuck did I get outside?

I got up to my feet and looked at my bearings once more. I then pinched myself thinking this was a dream. Nope not a dream I felt pain.

I looked down and saw a gun, I picked up the gun and inspect it.

(Y/N): Holy shit, is this what I think this is.

I inspect the gun one more time and can confirm... It's the Toolgun. I looked at the screen on the gun as it showed the prop menu.

It has other tabs such as weapons, NPC, vehicles and etc. It also has my addons that I downloaded on the workshop inside this Toolgun.

(Y/N): Sweet! All my addons are on here.

So the first thing I did was spawned in some barrels to see if it would actually work, and low and behold it works.

I spawned in 3 barrels and my face was in awe. I quickly removed it because I had a feeling someone was watching me somewhere in this forest.

(Y/N): Okay, this is the real thing.
(I said to myself)

Ozpin POV

I was in my office watching this boy on my monitor as he was in Emerald Forest. He looks young and doesn't belong in Remnant just by his clothing. So I called team RWBY to find him and bring him to my office.

Glynda was here with me, watching the kid. She was just about to say something until we both heard the elevator.

We hear the elevator ding and saw Team RWBY walked into my office.

Ruby POV

My team and I exit the elevator and walked towards the headmaster's desk.

Ruby: You called us Professor?

Ozpin: Yes, I need you to go and get someone for me in the Emerald Forest.

Weiss: And who is that person, Professor?

Professor Ozpin showed us the CCTV footage of a young boy in the forest spawning props and removing them quickly.

Yang: He looks cute.

Ruby: What is he doing?

Ozpin: I don't really know, that's why I'm asking you four to find him and bring him to my office. Before anyone else does.

Blake: You sure he's friendly?

Yang: I mean look at him... He looks clueless and has no idea where he is.

Blake: He does look cute
(She mumbled quietly)

Ruby: Alright we'll do it! Team RWBY first mission!

I said while putting my hands in the air smiling. Yang smiles at me and copied me, Blake just smiles at me and chuckles while weiss rolled her eyes.

Glynda: Now get going. We don't want General Ironwood turning him into a weapon.
