"AHH!!" Kendra hit the ground and rolled, that armor she had formed shattering. "Ugh!" Kendra looked up and glared at the giant rock creatures Charmcaster was attacking them with. "Kendra, are you okay?" Glen asked, flying around on a mana board. "I'm fine, it'll take a lot more than a few pebbles to take me down," Kendra smirked and formed more armor. Charmcaster growled and cast another steel causing the ground beneath Kendra's feet to explode.

"Gotcha!" Kendra looked up and saw she was in Rath's arms. "You listen to here Charmcaster!! No one hurts Kendra Levin while Rath is around." he roared. Kendra quickly jumped from Rath's arms and he charged at the rock creatures. Glen flew by on his manaboard and helped his cousin destroy the creatures. "Guess I'll deal with Charmcaster." Kendra shrugged and ran through all the fighting toward Rath.

"Give me a lift kitty." Rath grabbed Kendra and threw her up toward Charmcaster. Kendra shifted the armor on her hand into a mallet and hit Charmcaster hard enough to knock her down. Kendra then crashed down and her armor shattered, again. "Ugh, didn't think that one through very well," Kendra muttered and quickly returned to Ben and Glen.

"You let her get away!" "Listen here Glen Tennyson, Rath is not responsible for Charmcaster escaping! Charmcaster is your villainess!" Kendra sighed and rolled her eyes. Quickly stepping between Rath and Glen, Kendra gave them both a warning look. "You two need to stop fighting every five minutes, nothing good comes out of it," Kendra said and both Rath and Glen nodded. Kendra smiled then her phone buzzed, quickly pulling it out Kendra saw a message from her mom. "Hey I gotta go, you two behave and no fighting unless it's a villain, okay?" Rath and Glen nodded. Kendra smiled and gave them both a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

"Let's see..." Kendra looked at the list her mom texted her. Kendra walked down the aisles of the grocery store looking for the needed items. Stopping in produce Kendra started picking off the veggies her mom asked for. "Didn't know you liked fruits and veggies." Kendra looked up from the peppers she was holding and looked over to Albedo. "My mom asked me to pick some up for dinner tonight, and I like fruits and veggies, they just have to be made a certain way." Kendra dropped the peppers into her basket and kept walking.

"What are you doing here, I thought the plumbers provided you with food?" Kendra asked. Albedo followed Kendra, "They do, but it's nice to try more of your human food, it gives me something to do since I'm under constant watch." Albedo said glaring at Kendra. "Hey, we could have thrown you in prison," Kendra said and Albedo grimaced. Kendra smiled knowing she shut up whatever else Albedo had to say and kept shopping.

"How are things with the bicker cousins?" Kendra groaned and hung her head. Albedo frowned, "That bad, huh?" Kendra frowned and nodded. "They make life hard...well Glen does, Ben's a sweetheart." Albedo rolled his eyes at the mention of Ben. "Glen is always picking a fight, and if Ben would stop retaliating." Kendra sighed and headed for the checkout. "I don't even see a reason to fight," Albedo said and Kendra looked at him. "It's true, wasting time-fighting over a girl, it isn't a very good reason." Albedo shrugged and Kendra shook her head. "It's all because of the red string." Kendra looked at her finger and Albedo looked at his.

Kendra sighed and checked out, "Sometimes I wish they were like you and didn't care." Kendra said and Albedo smiled slightly. "I gotta go, behave yourself." "Like I have a choice." Kendra chuckled and left.

"I'm back" Kendra brought the groceries in and saw the kitchen table was covered with fabric, thread, and things of that variety. "Oh, hi Honey, I'll start dinner in just a moment." her mom said not looking up from what she was doing. "I got it, you can keep working on my dress," Kendra said and her mom smiled. "You are gonna look amazing in this." Kendra smiled brushed her hair behind her ear and began cooking. "You think so?" Kendra's mom finally looked up "Kendra, I've been designing this dress for you since I found out you were a girl, you will look perfect." her mom said giving her daughter a warm smile. Kendra smiled back and kept cooking and her mother worked.

"So, you're choosing Glen?" Kendra looked up at her mom. Kendra sighed "No, I just want him to let up a little." Kendra put dinner in the oven and sat beside her mom. "I mean, I like Glen but he puts a lot of pressure on me to pick him and tries to make Ben look bad." Kendra's mom nodded almost understanding her daughter's pain.

"Mom, what happens after I choose and I mean, what will happen to Ben and Albedo or Albedo and Glen or..." her mom raised a brow. "Do you actually consider picking him?" Kendra blushed a little "You just need to get to know him a little better, he can be very sweet." Kendra said and rested her head on the table. Kendra's mom smiled "I'm not judging, Honey...and I don't know what will happen after you choose, no one has ever had three strings before." Kendra nodded.

After dinner, Kendra escaped to her room and collapsed on her bed exhausted. Turning onto her side Kendra looked at her strings and began toying with them. "Never thought I'd actually care if I hurt someone," Kendra muttered to herself. Closing her eyes Kendra quickly fell asleep her toying with the strings stopping.

Elsewhere in Bellwood, all in separate homes Ben, Glen, and Albedo looked at their hands. The three boys frowned as the string stopped moving. With heavy sighs the boys went back to whatever they had been doing all three of them with Kendra on their mind.
