Mantle and Lunar walked down the sidewalk of what looked like down town of a city, large torn down buildings towering over them with roads made from clouds besides them as the two gods talked happily. It was heaven...no literally. That was what heaven looked like, at least where the gods lived anyways.

"How have you been?!" Lunar asked with a happy tone as they walked next to Mantle excitedly. "If I tell you that you'll just forget as always." The other god teased calmly, a small smirk planted onto his face as he spoke quietly. The deer sighed and rolled their eyes playfully, ears going flat onto their head as they looked at the ground with a smile. "Fair enough."

Mantle looked around, glancing in almost every which way since he seemed to always be on high alert. "Whatcha doing~?" Lunar teased with a curious tone. "Looking around." The 'hedgewolf' replied coldly. "Do you always worry this mu-" Before the other god could finish their question a small squirrel ran by the two, abruptly passing by a few gods as their heads snapped in his direction.

The first god cleared his throat and Lunar chuckled nervously. "Ok, maybe you have a right to worry." "MANTLE!!!!" One of the other gods on the street yelled out and both of them looked over to the voice, spotting Lyra shouting at them and cupping her hands around her mouth like a mega phone, "YOU RECOGNIZE THAT KID?!!" "U-Uh, nope!!" Mantle quickly responded with a slight studder. The black wolf looked at him with her body slanted to the side and a 'wtf?' look on her face. "Catch him. Got it." Mantle whispered rapidly before beginning to chase after Savage, the other gods following him without another thought.

Savage jumped over a few dumpsters into an alleyway before tripping and falling on his side. "Gah!!" The squirrel yelped to himself, slowly opening up his eyes and looking up to see a blue water creature standing in front of him as she looks down with a confused face. Savage sighed in defeat, exhausted from whatever happened before as Crystal picked him up by the neck.

A groan was the only thing Savage did in retaliation as the over gods ran into the alleyway as well. "Crystal?!" Lyra exclaimed as her and the rest of the T.U.G members surrounded the small squirrel as he hung in Crystals grasp, "You caught the intruder?" "Yeah?" Crystal cocked her head to the side before laughing anxiously, "Yeah I totally caught the intruder I knew fully about being here." She said with a fake grin as Mantle and Lunar grabbed Savage by the arms and started to drag him off.

"We're going to take him to Diane." Mantle informed the others, most of them nodding in agreement while the others stayed silent. "Oh yay! A free ride!" Savage commented sarcastically, "You do realize if I was an intruder I probably would want to go to Diane, which I'm guessing is your boss, so none of you are really doing a good job, dontcha think?" The squirrel looked up at his captures with an exasperated look on his face as the black wolf growled under her breath.

"Well, if you're NOT an intruder, then there shouldn't be a PROBLEM, right?" The black wolf glared at Savage. "Sure, no problem at all." Savage glared back.

The two gods carried Savage to their workplace. The other gods went off to do their own things. Well- except for Crystal who'll take any chance she can get to see the workplace she dreams of working at some day.

The 3 gods marched right into Diane's office, startling the fox. Her office was themed in brown wood, having a desk with a rolling chair Diane was sitting at with a giant bookshelf covering the wall behind her. She had all sorts of papers on her desk, along with a lamp and a plant as Ashtyn stood by the filing cabinets as he sorted through them. "Oh! What are you-?" The fox was about to ask before seeing the squirrel boy they were holding.

Their boss was now confused. "Who is-?" But Mantle cut her off. "As you know, I can remember everyone's face I see. And I can recognize any god by a mere description. However, I've NEVER seen this individual before. Meaning, this MUST be a demon in disguise, since you would recognize him as an angel, no?" Diane swiftly nodded. "Yes... I get notified about how many of each version of an individual dies per day. I have NEVER seen HIM... Child, what's your name?"

Savage glared. "I'm not a child... don't call me that." "Very well... squirrel. Who ARE you?" "...Savage. Savage the squirrel." Diane nodded. "Uh-huh... Savage, who do you work for?" "...No one-" "Lies." Diane glared daggers at him, making the squirrel feel like daggers were poking his soul. However, he didn't show any reaction to it. "...I'm not lying-" "WHO are you? Tell us, demon." "I'm not a demon..." "Then what ARE you?" "I'm a Cancer." He smirked and leaned forward with all his teeth showing in a grin, making the gods annoyed.

Mantle, pretending he didn't care, squeezed Savage's arm tighter, Lyra copying this action. Crystal leaned against the wall with her arms crossed. Diane kept glaring at the squirrel who started to feel a bit anxious, knowing he'd have to fess up soon about the deal he made with Gow.

Diane forcibly grabbed Savage's chin, forcing his head upwards to look at her. He felt restricted. He didn't like that. "Are you flirting with me?~" Savage smirked and Diane let out a low growl. "No, infant. Tell me of your origins. We wouldn't hesitate to kill a demon."

Savage froze. Kill me..? Is that even possible anymore..? Gow never mentioned that before... "...New critter city." "WHO. ARE. YOU?" Savage gulped a little and pulled out his sassy side. "I'm the new goddess of wishes!"

Everyone in the room froze...

Even Crystal, who was basically on her phone the whole time, looked up in shock. "...W-What do you mean?" Crystal, being the first to get out of her shock, reminded the room of her existence in the corner.

Savage didn't know how to explain! What was he SUPPOSED to say?! Savage thought for a moment before speaking again. "Gow gave me her powers because she was sick of y'all." He said smugly, unaware that Diane, Gow's 'former' boss, was now fuming. "'SICK OF US'?! And you expect me to believe that GOW, my most trustworthy and loyal worker would decide to just- give up her powers to a random CHILD?!" Savage smirked and nodded. "Mhm~ And also, I'm her FRIEND."

Diane glared at Savage. She wasn't buying this. "...Get the necro-sword." Diane commanded the gods in the room, not looking up at them. "But boss, what if he's telling the truth?" Mantle defended. "Yeah, he's just a kid." Lyra added. Savage knew what that meant... a death penalty. "Death? I think that's over the top, dontcha think?" "I think it's PERFECT for you." She spoke coldly.

Crystal spoke up next. "Ms. Diane, he's younger than ME. Give him some leeway." "Crystal, sweetie- ALL of you. You have good hearts, and that's what makes you three amazing. However, if he refuses to tell the truth-" "Gow WANTED to be mortal." Savage cut her off with a cold and tired look, leaving her stunned.

The fox adjusted her glasses and looked down at Savage. "...What?" "...I promised I would do her job for her because she was unhappy. She wanted to be mortal, so I gave her that choice, unlike you! ." Diane froze once more. She was stunned with this information. "...And this was a mutual consent deal, correct?" Savage nodded his head while glaring up at her.

Diane took a second to process this information. "So... does that mean she-?" "She's a mortal... yeah, took ya long enough, lady." Diane blinked a few times. "...Wow. I can't believe it- what can you even do?!" Savage paused for a moment before he took the one week old moldy sandwich out of his tail and almost shoved it in Diane's face. "Uhhh- what is... THAT?" Diane looked disgusted at the sight of the gross thing. "One week old food."

Crystal gagged in the background while Lyra gave Savage a weird look. Diane was disgusted but Mantle looked confused... "Why do you have 'one-week-old-food' in your tail??" "No reason." Savage looked smug and shrugged.

Diane face-palmed. "Child, I don't have time-" "I'm not a child." "...THING, I don't have time for this." Savage pouted and his shoulders fell to his side. "I was going to give GOW a mission but you'll have to do, rat." The fox spoke as she took a few pieces of paper from Ashtyn's hands as he stared in shock from the conversation the other gods were having. Diane quickly tossed them onto her desk as Savage looked at her coldly. "I'm not a rat, miss." The squirrel replied and took the papers before walking off to do his new job.

The five gods all looked at each other in silence, they all knew one thing...it was going to be a lot different without Gow being a god... but one of them seemed the most upset about it.
