Today is Sunday, the perfect time to confess. Today is also Rosie's birthday and I am planning to take her out, a place where it's only us, because today I am going to confess my feelings for her. I just realized my feelings for her yesterday. Right now, I am in a treehouse to decorate for her. I made my own confetti with white rose petals and pink rose petals. As far as I remember, Rosie likes white rose petals because it symbolizes loyalty, innocence and purity. Yesterday, I attended a wedding and the couples had a white rose in their wedding vase and I suddenly remembered Rosie. Her smile reminds me of the flower. That's when I realized I am falling for her. This is the very first time I expressed my feelings for a person. Especially who's been special to me for a very long time now.
I was thinking about maybe playing the game, she loves me, she loves me not. "Too childish, but maybe I'll give it a try?" I said as I took the flower and started plucking the petals off of a white rose one by one while alternating the phrases, "She loves me, She loves me not." The last one caught my attention. "S-she loves me?" Of course she does, Jisoo!
I smiled. "I hope everything goes well."
I asked for Lisa's help and told her to come over. I don't know how to make this more romantic and memorable for the both of us. 10 minutes later, I saw Lisa going up and was surprised by the beautiful view of the treehouse.
"Wow, this is so beautiful, Bro!" Lisa says as she sits on the floor. "But you know what's more romantic? Ask her to be your girlfriend in this treehouse. Here's the script, read it first then memorize it." While we were decorating the treehouse, I was memorizing the script. This is too long! I'll just do revision. Lisa opened her backpack, pulled out her fairy lights and decorated it to the ceiling area. It's amazing because the color of the lights matches the color of the treehouse.
While Lisa was decorating, I prepared the snacks which are the charcuterie boards for us to have a little dinner date too, all of the food that Rosie likes are all here including the croissant, pizza, etc. I thanked Lisa a lot since she's the only person who knows that I like Rosie and who's been supporting me from the start. "Is the cake here?" Lisa asked me while she was cutting the paper for a bouquet.
I tasted the sauce if it tasted good and it's already fine. I replied, "No, it's still in the fridge." I put the croissant beside the other breads that include the french bread.
"I'll put it here later, once you and Rosie go up. Don't take off her bandana if I am still here." I nodded. "Also, don't get scared, okay? I know Rosie will say yes since it's you." Both of us chuckled.
"I will pay you back after this!"
"No need, you already did so many good things to me even when I was trying to confess to Jennie. You were there to help and support me. Now, it's my time to help you back." I smiled. Lisa was very nervous when I saw her confessing her love to Jennie. I can see it in her eyes that she was scared of the outcome, not the confession but because she's also risking their friendship. But it went fine because Jennie also felt the same way. Now, it's my time to confess to Jennie's friend , Rosie, my true feelings for her that I've been hiding for a very long time now. I was just testing Rosie if she really liked me, like if it's just infatuation or not but she was still not giving up and that's the reason why I fell for her, it's because of her bravery and her love for me.
I called Rosie's brother to come over and to see if it's looking fine already. And hey, they gave positive feedback and thanked me and Lisa for making it good. Everything here won't exist without the help of Lisa though. She's such a good friend.
I only have an hour left to prepare, all of us went down to get ready. They helped me choose what to wear too. Right now, I am wearing formal attire and I look so good with this outfit I am currently wearing. Park Chanyeol, Rosie's older brother, called Rosie to come over. Jennie was at the lobby to help me cover up her eyes and I'll be guiding Rosie going here. Everything is already set and I am ready to confess.
An hour later. Our siblings were looking at us, looking so proud and we're going to the treehouse. I guided Rosie not to trip as I held her hand. I saw my siblings and her siblings giving a heart sign and were thrilling by jumping and silently celebrating. When we went up, I saw Lisa placing the cake on the table as she finalized the remaining decorations and snacks as well. She gave me a thumbs up and mouthed good luck, I smiled.
When Lisa finally went down, I told Rosie to take off the bandana. "Open your eyes." I smiled widely. I realized that she was also holding my hand when she was about to take the bandana off to her eyes. "I'm sorry." I heard her soft giggles. "It's okay!"
When she opened her eyes, her eyes widened and gasped. "O-oh my gosh! Jisoo!!!" Her eyes scream happiness. "Thank you for this surprise! The decorations are so pretty!"
"No problem! I hope you like my gift and happy birthday again!"
"Who did this all?"
"Lisa helped me decorate those things while I prepared some snacks and drinks for you." I said as I pointed at the snacks and drinks that were on the table. Her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh, my favorite croissant! And a desert too?!" I smiled. I love her reaction right now. She looks like a happy child.
She cleared her throat and said, "I have something to tell you, Jisoo." Her voice sounds so serious and I get it, she's going to confess to me and this time, I am going to say yes to her. "I'm all ears."
"I forgot. Maybe in another time, I'll tell you." I nodded. I wonder what it was , but I have a bad feeling that it's not good news. I shrugged my thoughts off.
"I'll go down to get the cutleries, okay?" She nodded. With one step, Rosie's words made me surprised and hurt when she said something that hurt my feelings out of nowhere.
"Reject me, Jisoo." What?!
