Broken (a magcon fanfic)

Chapter 3

Pov Addyson

I woke up and I just put some sweat pants on and a tight tank top. I put my hair in a messy bun and some cover up. I brushed my teeth and headed down stairs. I wanted to walk to the bus stop because I just wanted to talk. I saw Hayes and he was walking to the bus stop too. He walked over to me and said hi.

Addyson-a                  Hayes-h   

h-hi

a-hey whats up

 h-nothing much walking to the bus stop

a-yeah me too

(awkwardly) h-so can I tell you something

a-yeah what

h-Chrissa and I broke up

a- oh sorry that must suck

h-actually not really I broke up with her

a-why?

h- we really didn't click anymore

a-oh

h-well really we never really clicked

a-then why did you guys date

h- because we are the two most popular people 

a-so

h- well I guess everyone expected it

a-oh

h-can I say something else

a-please do

h-you look nice today

a-nice more like crap

h-well you always look nice

a- thanks?

h-you questioning my compliment

a-no ( Slowly pulls up her bracelets to make sure her scars don't show)

h-then why don't you just say thanks

a- because

h-because why

a- I don't accept compliments

h-oh ok then

Thank god we got to the bus stop it was so awkward. But then came Chrissa and I could tell Hayes was getting nervous. I was too though. She walked by me and said ughh. I looked at Hayes and said," what's her problem."

He looked at me and said," I don't know her face." I laughed and then she looked over and said," if your going to talk crap say it to my face." I choked and said," no I'm sorry." Hayes looked at me weird and said," Stick up for yourself." I looked at him and said," not its fine.''

We got on the bus and we sat together. We talked and just had fun. For once I didn't have to put my head phones it and leave the world.

We got to school and he walked to my locker with me. The he said," you want to walk to my house after school?''

I said sure just let me text my mom. I texted my mo and she said okay. 

We went our ways and planned to meet at the side doors on the way out.

I went through the day. For once I didn't feel so alone. Even though Hayes wasn't there. It wasn't that bad.

After school I went to the doors and waited for Hayes. When he got there he said," Hey. I got last minutes plans but I can walk you home." I got a big bulge in my throat because I was pretty sure I knew what he was doing. He was leaving me. I felt broken. I said okay though. We walked together and it was quite awkward. It was quiet almost the entire time until he spoke up and said

a-addyson            h-hayes

h-I know you cut

a-how?

h-I saw them

a-oh where?

h-your wrists

a-oh but I stopped cutting there

h-do you still cut?

a-yeah sadly

h-why? let me guess Chrissa

a-yeah and others you.

h-what?

a-when you left me

h-that's when you started

a-yeah

h-hey I am sorry. I will cancel my plans to talk about it.

a-no its fine have fun

h-so where do you cut now

a-my hips

h-why

a-because my mom already caught me when I cut my wrists

h-so your mom thinks you stopped

a-yeah and don't tell her. I would kill myself.

h-really?

h-have you thought of doing it

a-yeah and attempted

h-oh

h-I'm sorry

a-Hayes its okay

h-NO ITS NOT. ( Hayes yelled) I am the one who hurt you. Who made you do this

a-(starting to cry) it okay. All I wanted to do was to relieve the pain. It worked but now I am obsessed

h- do you do anything else?

a-yeah

h-what?

a- I starve myself and when I do eat. I throw it up.

h-(starts to cry but stops himself)

a-its okay to cry

h- no its not

h-not when you are so popular

a-oh so that's why  cry

h-why?

a-because I am not popular

We stopped at the swings. I guess Hayes did cancel his plans. He stayed with me for like an hour and a half. We laid on the ground in the grass and watched the clouds. He ended up wrapping his arm around me. It was great. 

Then we walked to my house. He said goodbye then all the sudden kissed me. Chrissa was right there too. She was walking home. She walked right up to him and said," that's what you did you dumped me for this freak show!!!"

Hayes looked at her and said," She isn't a freak show. I'm not dating her either. She needs a little love in her life though. If you actually heard and listened to her struggles and life you would understand."

Chrissa rolled her eyes and ran away with tears in her eyes. For once I didn't feel bad for her. She finally got to feel what it's like to feel like that. To feel broken and worthless.
