I plead but nothing worked, those voices and those strange vision were not stopping, I fall on my knees unable to stand.
"Wei Ying!"
I heard Lan Zhan's voice before hitting the ground and then everything turned dark.

Author's POV :
During the net year and engagement party Lan Wangji made sure to keep a close eye on Sean. He didn't leave Sean for a single moment until the monkey took him away. Lan Wangji was making sure that Sean was save.
As the couple exchanged rings everyone's eyes were on them. In the mean time Sean decided to check what was wrong, he let his body flow along the force that was continuesly attracting him.
No one noticed him getting away from there. Lan Wangji was busy talking with some guests as everyone was congratulating the couple.
After sometime Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen joined Lan Wangji.
"Lan Wangji, where's Wei Wuxian?after the ceremony I couldn't spot that brat anywhere. I thought he was with you."
"Wasn't he with they boys?" Lan Wangji said and looked around for Sean but he didn't see Sean along with the boys. Everyone became tensed as all of them rechecked their surroundings but couldn't find Sean .
Out of a sudden they all sensed resentment energy nearby which slowly started increasing.
"Resentment energy? Here?" Lan Xichen exclaimed.
The first though came to Lan Wangji was "Wei Ying!" He ran towards the source of energy with panic visible in his movements and face.
Lan Wangji's heart was beating furiously against his chest and his mind was filled with worst possible thoughts. His panic started to increase as he looked for Sean. He was facing the panic in his life for the third for no one but his Wei Ying.
As he reached in the hallway he saw some black smoke coming from a room. He instantly pushed the door fully open. His body trembled as he saw Sean standing in the corner with the resentment energy ready to engulf him. Sean's back was facing him.
He ran towards Sean and called out for him. "Wei Ying!" But Sean didn't seem to hear him. He tried to touch Sean but the flow of resentment energy pushed him back.
Keeping his balance Lan Wangji again proceeded towards Sean shouting his name. It was the first time ever he had ever shouted so desperately.
