Mel was an introvert girl who loved to stay involved in her own world. She just completed her high school and now it was time for her to join college. She joined the college and opted the degree of her parent's choice. Her college had started but she remained quiet, it was hard for her to make friends anyways she hardly made two friends. Mel was a studious girl who had complete information of her courses. She loved to stay in her own personal space. Afterwards she joined a group of friends that included some guys too. All of them were okay but then there was Alan who was a sweet and decent guy. The special thing about Alan was that he had a crush on Mel, but couldn't express that, but then a day came when Alan texted Mel regarding some notes. At first she felt weird but after a few chats she became comfortable with Alan. They started chatting and gossiping about their classmates. They used to share laughters with each other.
One day they went out on a council together and looked out for each other. Their friendship started to grow. Mel became open towards him and loosened her boundaries, which she rarely does, they started to sit together in their class and used to study for the exams together. Mel became attracted to Alan.
Alan's birthday was near and their friends group planned to surprise him on his day. Mel wanted to give Alan something special so she started working on it and made a beautiful card for him. She wrote her heart out. She plucked a flower for him. When she went to give him the card and  flower, she became really shy that she just handed Alan the stuff and ran away. Later on she texted him asking that how was it, he really loved it and told her that he'll keep it safe with him for the whole life. Mel became really happy. It was the start of a new bond in Mel's life. It was the time when she made her first bestfriend in college. She felt really blessed to have a friend like Alan in her life, although she didn't knew about the crush.
