Hayleys parents broke up in her first year of high school. Her mother moved her and her sister Hannah away to New York City. Leaving her dad in Australia, Cairns in her home town. At Hayleys sister Hannah's wedding, hayleys dad told her about a promise she made back in Australia just before she left. That she will move back to Australia for senior year. Hayleys life is somewhat perfect in New York, great friends, popular boyfriend. In Australia her life was the opposite. She used to be the chubby girl that was always at the police station all the time, taking a wheel off a truck for a swing, cutting down all the palm trees in the middle of town, spray painting faces on memorials. In all this she wasn't alone her best friend/crush Liam Reed was right beside her. What is going to happen when she gets back to Cairns? How is she going to take seeing her old bully's and old crush; she old best friend she hasn't seen in 4 years...
