Chapter 3

Mel and Alan used to spend almost every second of the day together making memories. Both were very happy with their growing friendship they used to care for each other like lovers. Sometimes Alan flirted and she became really shy but deep inside feelings started to develop inside her too still she was unaware of the crush. But had a little idea that there's a spark.
They made a hand print piece of art which was Mel's idea that they should do something like that. Alan showed interest too. Both of them were really invested in each other and deep down there was love,which was expressed in little actions. They started to spend time on their phones too when at home. They texted, called and snapped each other all day long.
In lunch breaks they used to share lunch and spent a joyful time. They loved to make small fights with each other like little kids. Mel made him a part of his routine and so did Alan. They were always together no matter what. Always there for emotional support. Mel had a toxic household and she remained really disturbed due to this but Alan was always there to cheer her up.
Finally their exams came up. Both of them started to study day and night for their exams. Mel used to teach Alan and sometimes Alan did that specially chemistry because Mel had no grip on that.
One day, they were together studying for the exam, Mel kept her head on Alan's shoulder and he gifted her a white rose. Mel's eyes shined, she became extremely happy. Obviously not a proposal but a little gesture of it. Anyways their bond became a strong as a rock, that no one could even think of breaking them apart.
The exams ended, and they got a break from their college. Still they remained in contact everytime through their phones. It was hard but they had to.
