Margaret's POV
I fell asleep on the jet ride . Trust me, it was not a comfortable resting period. Turbulence was intense. I almost got up to throw up at one point. I've always sort of resented flying . Flying hasn't been my favorite thing. I'm not fearful of falling, really, it's just that I've always disliked it. Marrying an unstable rockstar does not help the phobia much .

" Margaret. Wake up." Mick shook me violently.
" Ugh." I groaned. " Could you try to be a little gentle?" I whined as I massaged my violently shaken shoulders.
" I need to tell you a few things. So my mother is going to ask you how I proposed and all that junk. You will say that I proposed while we were looking at the stars on your balcony eating dinner. Try to act well, I don't want her sensing anything fake."
" Oh you're right , that would be wrong of her to think wrongly of her son LYING to her." I said sarcastically.
" Look, I don't need your attitude. This is important. Just do as I ask and we will be fine. You will get to write your novels and whatever . "
I almost yelled back at him, but I stopped myself. I get to write novels. Everything I wanted. I have the time to. I just have to find a way to tell my boss I'm quitting ...

We got off the plane and our chauffeur drove us to his parent's home. I was a little excited I have to say. London is so beautiful and I've never been there before . There were so many flowers and antique buildings. All of it was so modestly elegant.

We pulled up in front of the house and it was beautiful. There were vines tangled beautifully along the side of the house and a garden of roses in front of the side window. " Wow." I whispered to myself.
" Yes it is beautiful." Mick said walking to the gate. He unlocked the Victorian-style iron gate and hurried me in.
" THERE. THERE HE IS! IT IS MICK JAGGER!" A girl screamed and a symphony of numerous girls screaming followed.
" Hurry hurry!" Mick shouted as he quickly slammed the gate .

We walked up to the house and Mick opened the door. " Mum, dad!" Mick shouted through the house.
" Michael darling!" A medium sized woman with short brown hair scurried into the room towards Mick.
" Ello, Mum." He responded to her embrace.
" Oh and thus must be Margaret!" She hugged me and I was surprised by her friendliness. I hugged her in return and she smiled so widely.
" Where's dad?" Mick asked while tapping his index finger on his lip.
" Oh..." She scurried off into the other room. " Joe!" She shouted.
" Now hold my hand and pretend to be in love with me." He whispered roughly into my ear.
I rolled my eyes and forcefully grabbed his hand. His mother walked back in and I quickly laid my head on his shoulder and smiled.
" Oh Joe look at those two. They are lovely. " Mick's mother smiled.
" Michael." Mick's father said.
" Dad." Mick hugged his father hesitantly.
" And you are Margaret?" He said going to shake my hand.
" Yes." I smiled shaking his hand.
There was an awkward pause of silence.
" Well ..lets get you some tea and Margaret, tell me about the proposal!" She put her arm around me and led me to the kitchen. I looked behind me and Mick gave me a stern look.

" Margaret, darling. What happened? I'm so excited to know!" Mick's mother asked excitedly while pouring the steamy tea into the cups.
" Well, we were on my-." I stopped and got lost in my thoughts. I don't know if I ever will get married again after this, so I should have fun with it. " We were uhm. We were at my home eating dinner. He made us lasagna and he had given me roses to put in a vase on the table and then he grabbed my hand and told me he wanted to tell me something and he got on his knee and asked me to marry him and then of course I said yes. Then we went on a boat ride down the river and we watched the stars and it was a lovely night. "
His mother was in awe. " Oh that sounds lovely. Where is your engagement ring?" She asked.
I froze. My stomach dropped. What do I say? Why didn't he get a damn ring?
" Uhm...my ring...uh... I must've left it." I looked around me trying to act upset, even though this social anxiety was already upsetting me enough." I left it on my sink at home!"
" Oh dear!" She covered her mouth.
" I know, but it's alright!" I laughed anxiously. Mick walked into the kitchen with his father and I let out a sigh of relief. " Darling, your mother is absolutely lovely." I said hugging his waist. He had this scent. It was like spear mint , mixed with a woodsy smell. It was pleasing . The only pleasing thing that I really found in him.

We stayed a little longer and ate dinner with them. We chatted about my former job and I told them the truth. I said that I quit the job and now I can settle down and do the thing I really love, story writing.

Mick moved his arm from around me and sat up off the couch. " Well, mum, dad, Margaret and I better get going . It's late and I want to get some rest before my show tomorrow in New York."
" Oh alright darling." Mick's mother sat up and kissed his cheek and we walked to the door.
"Bye ." I smiled as Mick's mother pecked my cheek lightly.
" We will see you at the wedding on Saturday." She smiled. " Michael, darling . Call me and let me know where exactly the ceremony will take place."
" I will, mum. Bye ,dad."
" She's a lovely girl, Michael. Eva and I are very fond of her." Joe smiled at Eva and we walked out the door.
" I hope grandchildren are in the future, Michael!" Eva shouted from the house.
I gasped." Oh maybe mother!" Mick shouted back.
" Yeah right !" I whispered .
