When everyone got to the backstage area, Aaliyah was asking was that the plan, and Diego confirmed it.

Rey: Did you even tell anyone except Triple H?

Diego: Yeah, Carlito. I can't turn heel without consent of the person i'm attacking.

Cruz: That's true.

Joaquin: When is your next match?

Diego: Next Smackdown, this week on Smackdown I have a video promo lined up for the explanation.

Aaliyah: That should be great baby.

Aaliyah kisses Diego's masked cheeked, and said her goodbyes to the others, as Rey pulls Diego to the side.

Rey: Aaliyah told me about the pregnancy, Necesito saber sobre el compromiso. (I need to know about the engagement.)

Diego: Tío Rey, I am still working on the ring.

Rey: I know you have enough money for the ring, why are still working on it?

Diego: You don't get, I am hand making the ring. Mi padre said that nothing is more loving than a hand made ring. Because it shows that you are more than willing to spend the rest of your life with.

Rey nods in approval before telling him to scurry off to join up with Aaliyah.

Aaliyah: What did mi padre want?

Diego: Just wanted to make sure of something.

Diego: It is guy business.

Aaliyah: Your mean at times.

Diego: But you love me for it.

The next couple of days, when Aaliyah had gone to hang out with her friends or her father, Diego always pulls out a mini duffle bag out of his suitcase and continues to make a ring that is the measurement for his girlfriends finger, and when the next episode of Smackdown came, he still wasn't finished.

Sin Cara had gotten buzz from social media about his heel turn at Backlash and on Raw, it had been reported that Sin Cara was drafted in the 3rd round to go to Smackdown. When he was selected mostly everyone was booing.
