shinji will be using her powers over the datastorm as a focal point for his plan so the aerial itself was a necessity to the plan, as was the nirvash typezero, which eureka will bring them, eureka herself was also necessary as a base of sorts for the new civilization shinji was forming, using his own angel DNA to work it out
he gave a sigh, as his EVA activated for what would likely be the final time, as it was unlikely that unit-01 would survive the procedure which would end the final evangelion, and started the slow trek to the coralian command cluster, lance of longinus in hand
