"You know," Juno said with a huge smile on her face. "If you weren't so busy all the time you'd, I don't know, have a love life or something." I scoffed. "For your information I have a love life. It's just, uh, under wraps, I guess."

I pulled the key out of the ignition and opened my car door. "Whatever you say Lo", she said as she rolled her eyes. "If you keep bitching about me getting a boyfriend, you're going to start walking to school."

Juno has been my best friend since I started high school. Well not really, but that's not really important now, what matters the most is that she's a great friend. I guess.

"So guys, junior year let's get fuckin' stoned am I right?" That's Cash. He was named after Johnny Cash. Or that's what he likes to tell people. He's Juno's boyfriend. Funny guy, infatuated with weed, Alt-J, and my best friend.

"It's the third week, I can't afford to be suspended yet," I say while walking to first period. "Plus, I told you, if my mom found out about me being high at school again, she'd beat my ass and send me to some place like fucking Virginia so I can be surrounded by a bunch of nuns and my Catholic sisters."

"Well that can't be terrible," Juno said, "you'd be able to get your lesbian on!"

We eventually got to Biology and as I walked over to my seat Mr. White called on us.

"Juno and Lola! You guys are being separated." We both stared at each other in disgust. "What the fu-"

"Don't you finish your sentence or you're getting detention Ms. Castro." I rolled my eyes as I walked over to my new assigned seat, all the way across the room.

I pulled out my phone and texted Juno.

"Who the fuck is my partner?"

"I think it's that guy that smells really gross all the time. Matt or something"

"Ew. Why would you say that? What the fuck? You're disgusting."

I had my head on the table while texting her and I didn't notice anyone had sat next to me until I saw someone's feet beside mine.

I got another message from Juno.

"Vinny's your partner."

My face turned all different shades of red and pink.

"Why are you sitting over here?" He asked with a smug look on his face. I sat there, silent, not knowing what to say back. "Hello? I asked you why you were over? I haven't had a partner for three fucking weeks why the f-". I held my hand up in his face and he pushed it away.

"First of all I don't want to sit over here and listen to you bitch all day. If I wanted to be annoyed I would've stayed home with my mother. Second of all it's not my fault. White moved me over here. So get over yourself and learn to deal with it." I smirked and put my head back on the table.

I heard him murmur something under his breath about bitches and I had to restrain myself from choking him. But it was too early in the morning for him to ruin my day.

Another text from Juno.

"Someone's a little salty this morning."
