Alessia slowly awakened to the warmth enveloping her, the steady rhythm of Theo's heartbeat beneath her ear a comforting reminder of the protective embrace that shielded her throughout the night. As she stirred, Theo's gaze met hers, eyes filled with tender affection that sent flutter of warmth through her veins.

''Good morning.'' He whispered softly, his lips brushing against her forehead in a gentle kiss. ''How did you sleep?''

Alessia's heart swelled with gratitude as she replied, ''For the first time in a while, I slept peacefully. Thank you.''

Their morning was filled with a sense of contentment, the lingering shadows of their past fears and anxieties held at bay by the newfound connection that had blossomed between them. Together, they made their way to the Great Hall for breakfast, the warm glow of the morning sun casting a golden hue over the enchanted ceiling as they joined their friends.

As they settled in their seats, the group's curious gazes turned towards them, a playful smirk playing on Pansy's lips as she asked, ''So, care to explain why you two were sharing a room last night?''

Alessia and Theo exchanged a knowing glance, their smiles reflecting the depth of their newfound bond. ''Some things are better left unsaid,'' Theo replied, his voice tinged with a playful edge.

The weeks that followed were a whirlwind of emotions and challenges, the lass of Hogwarts echoing with whispers and murmurs as Umbridge's influence grew pervasive with each passing day. The Ministry's interference cast a shadow over the school, the once vibrant spirit of Hogwarts stifled by the oppressive atmosphere that permeated the castle. Despite the growing sense of unease that gripped the school, Alessia found solace in the sanctuary of Theo's room, their nights filled with whispered conversations and tender moments that served as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness that threatened to engulf them.

A few weeks later,  Alessia decided to study in the library for her upcoming exam. Alessia's heart raced as she hurriedly exited the library, the weight of her extended study session pressing heavily on her mind. The sudden appearance of Umbridge, her sickly sweet smile juxtaposed with her icy demeanor, sent a shiver down Alessia's spine. Without warning, Umbridge's grip tightened around Alessia's arm, her nails digging into her skin as she was dragged towards the dreaded pink office. The coldness of the room only heightened Alessia's anxiety as Umbridge interrogated her about Dumbledore's army, her voice growing increasingly shrill with each denial Alessia offered.

''I don't know anything about it!'' Alessia cried out, her voice echoing off the walls as Umbridge's relentless questioning continued.

''Liar!'' Umbridge spat, her eyes narrowing in suspicion as she seized Alessia's hand, a twisted smile curling her lips as she carved the accusing words into her skin, the blood staining Alessia's hand a dark crimson.

The searing pain served as a cruel reminder of Umbridge's ruthless determination to uncover the truth, her sadistic pleasure evident in the cruel scar that marred Alessia's skin. With a heavy heart, Alessia made her way back to the Slytherin common room, the weight of the encounter pressing heavily on her shoulders. As she entered the room, Theo's concerned gaze immediately sought hers, his eyes widening in alarm as he took her disheveled appearance and the haunted look in her eyes. Without a word, he rushed to her side, his hands gently cradling her injured hand as he whispered words of comfort and reassurance.

''What happened, Alessia?'' he asked softly, his voice filled with a mixture of anger and concern as he examined the scar that marred her skin.

With a trembling voice, Alessia recounted her harrowing ordeal, the fear and helplessness she had felt in Umbridge's presence still lingering like a dark cloud over her. As she spoke, Theo's expression hardened, his jaw clenched in anger as he struggled to contain the rage that surged through him.

''Maledictus Umbridge,'' he muttered, his voice tinged with bitterness as he contemplated the depths of her cruelty. ''She will pay for what she's done.''

Without another word, Theo stormed out of the common room, his determination to confront Umbridge and hold her accountable for her actions propelling him forward. Theo returned to the common room, the determination that had fueled his confrontation with Umbridge still evident in his eyes. As he approached Alessia, who sat on the couch by the fireplace, he could see the fear and anxiety that had gripped her beginning to dissipate, replaced by a sense of relief at his return. Kneeling in front of her, Theo took  Alessia's hand in his, his gaze searching hers as he whispered, "You will never have to worry about that woman ever again," he vowed, his voice filled with conviction.

Alessia's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as she looked into Theo's eyes, the weight of her ordeal slowly lifting as she took solace in his unwavering support. With a smile that spoke volumes, she reached out to him, pulling him close as they shared a moment of quiet understanding. Together, they made their way to Theodore's room, the warmth and comfort of his bed beckoning them both. As they settled into each other's arms, the events of the day fading into the background, Alessia felt a sense of peace wash over her.

Alessia awoke to the warmth of Theo's embrace. Theo soon woken up, greeting her with a big hug. Together, they made their way to the common room, the familiar surrounding offering a sense of solace to them. As Theo pulled Draco aside to speak in hushed tones, Alessia's gaze lingered on them, the tension evident in Theo's demeanor a stark contrast to the camaraderie that had once characterized their interactions. As they joined her, the three of them made their way to the Great Hall, the silence between them palpable as Alessia sought to understand the source of Theo's anger. With a heavy sigh, he recounted Draco's revelation about Dumbledore's Army, his voice tinged with bitterness as he spoke of Harry Potter's role in the clandestine group. As they approached the Great Hall, Theo's gaze locked on Potter, his anger reigniting as he stormed towards him, his fury evident in very step. Without warning, he grabbed Potter's collar, pinning him against the wall as he unleashed a tirade of accusations, his voice filled with venom.

''Do you have any idea what you've done?'' The spat, his anger boiling over as he confronted Potter about the consequences of his actions. ''Because of your reckless behavior, Alessia has been scarred, marked by Umbridge's sadistic cruelty.''

Potter's eyes widened in shock as Theo's words echoed off the stone walls. Theo made him swear to turn himself in or they would meet like this again. With a nod of acknowledgment, Theo pushed Potter to the ground, spitting on him before he ran off to god knows where.

Alessia's eyes widened in shock as she watched the confrontation unfold before her, the raw emotion and intensity of Theo's anger leaving her speechless. As he returned to her side, she searched his eyes for answers.

''Why did you do that?'' She asked softly.

Without hesitation, Theo reached out, taking her hand in his as he whispered, "I would do anything to protect you," he vowed.

Alessia's heart swelled with gratitude as she took in Theo's words. Then, they made their way towards the Great Hall.
