Chapter Seven

Brian walked into the garage where they were all working on cars, before he saw her working on a paint design

"Hey pretty girl" he complimented before kneeling behind her as she sat on the ground next to the car. He wrapped his arms around her, embracing her "How you doing"

"Im doing just fine blondie what about you" she smiled before he kissed the back of her head and then her cheek

"Good, and the car is looking great"

"Thank you. Im thinking of painting the bumper solid"

"Yeah?"

"Mhm" she hummed in response

"Do you want to go out later" he asked still innocently kiss her shoulder

"Are you taking me out Spilner?"

"If you say yes" Brian placed his chin on her shoulder

They both turned up once they heard footsteps and it was no surprise when Dom glared down at the both

Truth was Dom didn't believe that Brian wasn't good enough for his sister, it was the fact that he knew Brian was good for her

But seeing a guy with his little sister never failed to boil his blood

Brian stood up as well as Dayanara

"That car needs a nos refill, you think you can do that Arizona" Dom stared at him before looking at his sister who was obviously annoyed and knew what he was doing

"Yeah you got it" he answered, squeezing her sides "I'll see you later"

"Bye" she said lowly before watching Brian walk out of the garage to the car outside

"Really?" Daya crossed her arms, she didn't need her brother babying her or chasing away guys like if she was in high school

"Shouldn't you be studying parts of the body" he said salty referring to her nursing degree that she's obviously been pushing away

"You're unbelievable" she scoffed before leaving

"You know your sister is entitled to happiness" Letty commented coming from the back

"Of course she's entitled to happiness. What she's not entitled to is this life Letty" he spat slamming the hood of the car

"I'm just saying she's 21 she's old enough to make her own decisions" still speaking to Dom calmly while he was visibly upset

"Why do you care"

"Because she's my best friend Dom" she said now standing directly in front of him as he sighed and looked down

"She just hit the cut"

"You can't protect her forever"

Brian did tell Daya that he was going to take her out, this time it was in his car

Once they got to the place Brian opened every door for her but he was quiet, even on the drive there he was was quiet

Daya couldn't help but think she did something to him, after they took their order she was determined to ask

"Are you okay B?" she questioned him looking for his eyes but he avoided hers
