Dayanara was in the front pacing from side to side in the drive way while she waited for Dom. But a familiar car pulled into the drive way and she stopped pacing

He pulled his gun out pointing it to her
"Where's Dom, Dayanara" he shouted before approaching her
"Move your car" she started before he spoke again
"Where is he" he asked again "I didn't call the police but-"
"Brian you are the cop" she interrupted him, yelling back feeling the same burning sensation in her eyes "You've always been the cop. Stop the bullshit already Brian"
That's when Dom came from the shadows with a shot gun in hand
"Put the gun down Dom" Brian said moving his point to Dominic "Don't push it"
"I got to find Jesse before they do" Dom said approaching him "I'm all the kids got"
"PD will pick him up way before Johnny even gets near him"
"Move your car" he argued. That's when the Jetta pulled up and Jesse got out of the car
"Dominic" Jesses voice was strain. Dom looked at Brian throwing his shotgun onto the ground "I'm so sorry, I don't know what I'm doing Dom"
Daya looked at the poor boy who's visibly gone through a hell of a night
"I'm so scared right now D" his voice shaking
"What were you thinking" She asked him
"I don't know what I'm doing, please help me"
"Get down" Dom shouted as Tran and his team drove by in their motorcycles shooting everything in sight

She watched as Brian got into his car to follow them and shortly after her brother did the same
She prayed that her brother would come back, and apart of her prayed that Brian would be coming back with her. But that was unrealistic Brian would never be able to face Dayanara again.
It wasn't until later that night when Dom showed up to the house explaining how Brian let him go, but that he was on the run now and had to leave,
Letty and Leon had showed up as well getting any other belongings they had at the house before they all hit a run for it to who knows where.
Dom every so often called Dayanara letting her know where he was at, usually tho where ever he was at it was temporary
He sent her money and souvenirs every time he had the chance too, being on the run didn't stop him from still taking jobs
Letty also encouraged the girl to put herself out there as the years went by but Daya couldn't she didn't allow herself. She didn't trust anyone besides her family
Eventually she did go back to her studies and focused on that, she got her title and her tools, she was listened as a nurse
