Part 9

Ishqi came back to her flat. She directly went to pack her bag. Siya came into her room asking for lunch when she found Ishqi packing her things.

Si: Ishqi, tu ye kya kar rahi hai? Tu kahi jaa rahi hai kya?
Ishqi turned towards Siya with tearful eyes. Seeing tears in her eyes, she quickly went near her.
Si: Ishqi kya hua? Tu ro q rahi hai? Pls shant hoja.
Siya made Ishqi calm down and sit with her on bed.
Si: Ab bata kya hua.
I: Sab kuch khatam hogaya Siya.
Si: kya hua tu sab bata.
I: Main hi pagal thi jo Ahaan sir ki care dekhkar samajne lagi ki vo mujse pyaar karte the. How stupid I was !
Si: Unhone kuch kaha?
Ishqi nods in no.

I: Aaj maine unhe Deepali ki grave ke paas jaate hue dekha. Aur unhone jo bhi kaha vaha usse ye hi pata chalta hai that he still loves her, vo unhe nahi bhul paaye hai. Meri jo bhi care unhone ki , it was all just a guilt q ki unhe lagta hai muje goli unki vaja se lagi thi.
Si: Ek baar tu unse baat karle, kya pata koi misunderstanding hui ho q ki muje nahi lagta ki unhone sab kuch guilt mein rehkar kiya ho.
I: Main ab unhe face hi nahi karna chahti. Muje bas ab durr jaana hai unse. Aur aaj main Banglore ke liye nikal rahi hu, vaha ke hospital se offer aaya tha.
Si: Ishqi pls tu ek baar phirse sochle.
I: I have decided everything. I won't back off.
Si: As your wish, chal tab tak teri main help kardeti hu.

Siya helped her in packing and they hugged.
Si: Pahunch kar call karna
Ishqi nods.
Later Ishqi went to the railway station.

Ahaan came with his car near Ishqi's building. He was very much happy today as he has planned something to propose Ishqi. He called her, Ishqi saw his call so she silents her mobile as she doesn't want to talk to him. After trying to call her for 4 times, he dialled Siya's number. She too didn't pick his call. So, Ahaan came out from his car and went inside her building. He ringed the bell and Siya opened the door, she was shocked seeing him here.
A: Ishqi kaha hai?
Si: Vo...vo...sir vo toh apne hospital hogi
A: Vo hospital mein nhi hai, I have called there too. Tell me now, where is Ishqi?
Si: Vo aapse nahi milna chahti Sir.
A: It's very important Siya.
Si: Aap uski feelings ke saath q khel rahe hai Sir. She really loves you a lot. If you don't love her then you should have said it clearly to her. Q use jhuti umeed di aapne. Pls aap yaha se jaaiye.
Ahaan was thinking that till yesterday everything was alright then what happened suddenly. But now he wanted to meet Ishqi first.
A: Siya, it's very urgent. I want to confess her my feelings. Pls tell me where is she.
Si: Aap sacchi mein usse pyaar karte hai?
He nods.
Si: Vo railway station par hai, she is leaving the city.
Siya was going to say anything further till then Ahaan left the place quickly.
Siya just prayed to God for their happiness.

Ahaan quickly drove towards the railway station and he reached there soon. He started searching her on every platform. Finally, he found her sitting on a bench. He thanked his stars. Ahaan slowly went near her and sit beside her on the bench.
Feeling someone's presence, Ishqi wiped her tears and looked at the person sitting beside her. She was shocked seeing Ahaan there. Ahaan also looked Ishqi.
A: Kahi jaa rahi ho?
I: Muje dusre city mein ek hospital se accha offer aaya tha.
A: Muje bina bataye jaa rahi thi.
Ishqi turned her head forward but Ahaan was just looking her only.
I: Sab kuch bahaut jaldi mein hogaya issliye nahi bata paayi, vaise bhi aapko batakar ya nahi batakar kya hi farq pad jaata Sir.
A: So you think muje kuch farq nahi padta?
I: Mere sochne se kuch nahi hota Sir.
Ahaan took a deep breath.
A: Tumhe ek baat batana toh bhul gaya. Muje Police Gallantry Medal milne vala hai.
I(looked him with a smile): Congratulations Sir.
A: But ye medal apni wife yani Mrs Malhotra ke saath jakar receive karna chahta hu.
I(looking forward): Toh jaaiye dhund lijiye apni honewali wife ko.

Till then the train arrives.
A: Maine use dhund liya hai.
Ishqi felt a little pinch in her heart. She stood up from the bench.
I: Acchi baat hai. Aapko uske paas jaana chahiye.
Saying this, she started moving with her bag when Ahaan hold her wrist and Ishqi stood there only.
A: Main toh apni honewali wife ke paas hi aaya hu but dekho vo mujhe chhodkar jaa rahi hai.
Ishqi looked Ahaan with teary eyes. Ahaan got up from his place and went near her. He wiped her tears.
I: Ahaan sir , pls iss waqt mazak mat kijiye.
A: Tumhe lagta hai ki main mazak kar raha hu.
She felt numb. Ahaan took her into his embrace.

Both were lost in each other's embrace and they didn't realised when the train left. Ahaan then broke the hug.
Ahaan hold her cheeks.
A: I am not that much expressive Ishqi. Kya agar hum 'I love you ' nahi bole ek dusre se , toh iska matlab ye hai ki hum ek dusre se pyaar nahi karte?
I: Actions speak louder than words but sometimes words are also necessary Ahaan sir.
Ahaan kissed her forehead.
A: Pata hai Ishqi, hum dono jo ek dusre par apna haq jatate hai vahi hamara pyaar hai. Uss din jab tumhe maine khoon mein latpat dekha , I was scared. Ek pal ke liye toh meri saanse ruk gayi and then I realised I can't let you go. I needed you only at that time. Uss pal ke liye main apni saari insecurities bhul chuka tha. And I wanted to confess you my feelings but I was just waiting for your healing. Aur aaj maine finally decide kiya, I will tell you about my feelings but tum toh ye sheher chhodkar jaa rahi thi. Lekin aaj main vo kehkar rahunga jo muje kehna hai. I LOVE YOU Dr. ISHQI VERMA.
A tear dropped from her eyes. Ahaan wiped it.
I: aap sure hai?
A: I am as sure as I am going to do an encounter within a week.
Ishqi chuckled on his reply.

Ishqi remembered something.
I: Aap agar mujse pyaar karte hai toh phir aaj Deepali ki grave par aapne jo kuch kaha vo kya tha... I am sorry... I don't want to hurt you but...
A(interrupts): Ek min tumne kahi kuch aadhi baat sunkar toh kuch conclusion nhi nikala?
Ishqi was just silent.
A: Haa, main gaya tha Deepali ki grave par but just to apologize. I was seeking closure and confessing my feelings for you. I wanted to let go of the guilt and move forward with you. But I guess you misunderstood me listening half things only.
I: Shit. I did a blunder. Maine aadhi baat sunkar assumptions nikal liye.
A: Koi baat nahi Ishqi. I am just happy that you are with me and tumne meri itni rudeness ke baad bhi mujpar give up nahi kiya.
Ishqi smiled.
A: But I have just one complain from you.
I: Kya
A: Abhi tak tum Sir Sir kehkar muje irritate kar chuki ho, so now more using of word 'Sir', ok?
Ishqi chuckled.
I: I will try my best.
A: Accha ab chale?
Ishqi nods.
A: Main kya soch raha hu, tumhara ye bag hum mere ghar lekar chalte hai, vaise bhi shaadi ke baad toh tum udhar hi aaogi.
Ishqi smiled at his words and both left the place.

After a month, Ahaan was waiting for Ishqi at the temple along with Natasha, who is Jay's wife. Ahaan was looking his watch in every other minute.
Na: Ahaan, calm down, Jay Ishqi aur Siya ko lekar aata hi hoga. Have some patience.
Ahaan just nods.
He then dialled their numbers but none of them picked up. He remembered his wedding day with Deepali and he panicked a little.

But soon a car came, and Ishqi, Jay and Siya came out from it and Ahaan sighed. They went near them.
Na: Ishqi tumhare to be husband ko tumhare bina chain hi nahi aa raha tha. Accha hua aagayi tum.
Ishqi smiled and looked Ahaan. He came near her and hold her hands.
A: Are you okay?
She nods.
A: Phone q nahi utha rahe the tum log?
I: I guess silent par hoga, Sorry.
J: accha guys, chale ab andar. After all shaadi bhi karni hai tum dono ko.
They all went inside the temple.

Ahaan and Ishqi sat at the mandap and the priest started the rituals. The whole time Ahaan held her hand tightly. They both took pheras around the auspicious fire. Later, Ahaan put vermilion in her hairline and tied a nupital chain around her neck.
They looked each other with a smile.

The scene froze. The end.
