You stood in your new, dark apartment, boxes stacked and scattered all over what was going to be the living room.

After feeling satisfied by examining your apartment you made your way to your windows, with curtains covering the windows, not allowing any light to be exposed into your apartment that were left by the previous owners.

Nice, one less thing I have to buy

You pushed the curtains open and you didn't realise that they were black out curtains until you opened them. The bright sunlight forced you to snap your eyes shut for a moment before your eyes adjusted.

You looked through your window and you saw the other apartment complexes off to the left and the road straight ahead and some homes and shops off to the right. Directly in front of you was the railing, seeing as your apartment was on the third, and top floor. On the railing was a small calico cat with its back facing you. Its spotted tail gently swung back and forth contently.

You moved away from the thar window and opened all the other windows in your apartment. You didn't need to turn on any lights from the big windows, you liked that. It's a less expensive electricity bill to pay.

The whole reason for moving was because one, in your old apartment the heater and oven broke all the time and the water tank produced enough hot water for about a three minute warm shower. And two, the main reason was because you were offered a job at the prestigious highschool, UA. The highschool that you had gone to during your teenage years. You made plenty of good memories there, but also some bad ones there.

You turned your attention back to all the unopened and unorganized boxes that were annoyingly the only thing that had your attention.

After you unstacked all the boxes that way you could read the labels you had quickly and messily made with a sharpie, you decided that starting in the bathroom with only three small boxes would be the best. You'd be able to get the bathroom fully unpacked in hopefully no more than half an hour.

You carried the three boxes to the bathroom, opening the door with your foot and placing the boxes down with force. You got a good look at the bathroom and it was much nicer than your old one. It had white walls and a nice big counter to the left of the door. The counter had grey marble, but upon further inspection it was just a thick plastic material with the marble printed on it, but it was difficult to tell. There were two pull out drawers painted in a greyish-blueish color and one big cabinet below the pull out drawers. In the center the sink was there and on the wall a big flat mirror was there. Next to the counter was the toilet and next to that was the bathtub. Small thin rectangular windows were just above the shower head. Because the door was open it covered the small closet on the right side of the wall big enough to store towels, toilet paper, and things of the sort.

Wow, this is definitely bigger and nicer than my old one. A small smile made its way to your face as you grabbed your keys and cut open the first box.

After exactly 27 minutes you completely finished your bathroom.

Your shower curtain was hung and your soaps, body washes, razor, body scrubs and everything was in your shower on the ledge that stuck out from the wall of your shower. A rug placed next to the shower.

You had a cute little plant that you placed on the counter along with a bottle of soap, and a metal sign of a wave and a car with words on it that said: The Endless Summer - In search of the perfect wave. It was in black and white. You also had a small trash can next to the toilet and in the closet you had four plain black and white towels and some toilet paper. That was just one box by itself. And then in the drawers you kept your toothbrush and toothpaste, a brush, hair ties, q-tips, floss and what not and in the cabinet below you stored your cleaning supplies and mouthwash.
