(*10 Minutes later*)
"Spencerrr are we there yet? Its been like 20 minutessss!!" Ashton whined
"You sound like a 5 year old on a 10 minute car ride." Spencer laughed
"Im boredd... the arcade is like an hour away right?"
"Yeah..sadly we are only 10 minutes in so..." Spencer shrugged
Ashton flinched slightly when they heard a song they like come on "Oh my god I love this song!!" Ashton exclaimed as xe turned up the volume
They were visibly excited and Spencer just looked at xem with a smile
"You're cute when your happy you know.." He muttered, genuinely not thinking before he spoke. Ashton noticed he said that but didnt pay any mind to it at the time.
"Awe shit is it raining?" Ashtons mood quickly went south when they saw it was raining
"Hey, we can still have fun! A little rain wont hurt anyone! Cheer up , you were so happy!" Spencer nugged Ashtons arm slightly "Cmon Ashie!"
Ashton laughed slightly "I guess its fine, we are gonna be inside anyways.."
Spencer stopped the car and parked on the side of the road "What..?? Why did you stop?" Ashton questioned
"Just hold on..!" Spencer laughed as he got out of the car to get something that was in the grass
When spencer got back in the car he was holding something yellow in his hand "A buttercup ! For youu?" Spencer giggled
"What? Oh my god Spence just for that?" Ashton laughed as he took the flower "Your lucky I love buttercups..they are pretty..."
"See? Its perfect!" Spencer exclaimed as he started the car to get back on the road
"Pffft- Your jacket is soaked-" Ashton grabbed his hoodie "You should take it off, unless you want a cold!"
"Ughsh fine hold on" Spencer groaned as he started to take it off. After he took it off he threw it in the back seat.
"Whats with the cu-" Ashton cut himself off so he didn't finish that sentence and he just went quiet, looking at Spencer worried.
"Ah- Those are- just nothing, they are old don't worry" Spencer mumbled. "You don't- none are new right?" Ashton asked
"Right."
(*At the arcade*)
"What? Its fucking closed?!" Ashton groaned
"Man it said it was open like 20 minutes ago?? Maybe it closed due to the rain?" Spencer complained.
Ashton pouted slightly as he shuffled back to the car
"I was so excited for that arcade.."
"Hmm.. how about i take you out to somewhere to eat maybe?" Spencer suggested
"Its fine we can just get home.."
"I guess?" Spencer said worriedly as he got back in the car
(*At Ashtons house*)
"Sorry about today, should've checked the weather.." Spencer sighed
"Its fine."
Spencer went to speak again but Ashton just closed the door on his face again.
Spencer knocked on the door lightly and left another note and another buttercup with it on the doorstep.
Ashton sat on the floor next to the door as xe put in their headphones and turned the volume up loud. "he is trying too hard to make me like him.."
(*an hour later*)
Ashton was in the kitchen humming to themself a song that was suck in xeir head until a ringing pierced their head and saw Spencer calling xem
"Hello-?" Ashton mumbled
"Hiii Ashiee!! See can I maybe uhm..stay the night at your house.." Spencer mumbled,
Ashton could hear the rain in the background and realized he was outside "What? Are you okay?? What happened???" Ashton asked worriedly, genuinely concerned for him.
"Im fine! Uhm Im on my way to you- just figured Id call before coming over you know!" Spencer said, Ashton could hear a car door open and close on Spencers end of the call and then Spencer hung up. "What the fuck??"
(*20 minutes later*)
Spencer knocked on the door 20 minutes later and Ashton immediately opened the door and pulled him in. "Are you okay??"
Spencer just rubbed his eyes lightly then flopped into xeir arms, just not speaking to them.
Ashton didnt know what to do but xe just hugged Spencer tightly, obviously very worried for him "i hate my fucking family so much" Spencer mumbled as he let go of xem. "can i sleep over here.. just for tonight..?"
"Yeah, its okay dont worry" Ashton patted spencers head lightly as xe led him to xeir room.
"Ill get my air mattress so you can sleep in here.." Ashton said as xe opened their closet to find it
"cant i just sleep in your bed.." Spencer mumbled
"You...can if you want..?" Ashton said confused.
"can i?"
"but isnt that gay"
"No homo...."
"Okay Spence...."
(*10 Minutes later*)
"Do you have to literally hug me..." Ashton groaned as xe tried to push Spencer off
"Yes actually cause i need something to hug" Spencer muttered as he just hugged xem again
Ashton rolled over to face him and xe just smiled slightly "Night, dumbass" They lightly patted him on the head then lightly kissed him on the cheek. Ashton just pulled away after that and turned back over, leaving Spencer in complete shock "What was that Ashie?" Spencer asked with a slight giggle.
"Go to sleep Spence" Ashton groaned
Spencer just shrugged and hugged xem from behind "And let go of me" Ashton mumbled as xe tried to push Spencers hands off of xem "I know you dont careee..!!" Spencer giggled
"Fuck off"

AHHSS HAII GUYSS!!! Im sorry it took a while to get this chapter out, school is RUINING ME. But I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!
