Soul Speaker

(Toby pov)

I watched as Y/N slammed the door I brought my hand up to my face and wiped the blood off, this was clockworks fault if she wasn't...... I growled and turned to her seeing a smile formed on her face. "Well it looks like I got what I wanted..." she says doing a small chuckle I shake my head and quickly put my shirt back on, then turning back to her. "You were jealous this whole time and instantly thought you owned me because you think we're alike but we're not....I don't love you, I love Y/N so stop messing with my life and do something productive with yours!" Now I was angry I didn't care anymore I just needed to get to Y/N and explain, twitched as anger started to take over. Clockworks growled and walked closer to me "I'm just trying to keep you safe from that mortal" I turned my hands into fist and walked away from her toward the door, "from what love....something you don't know how to use correctly". Without waiting for her to reply I walk out the door closing it behind me and twitched once more turning to Y/N's door starting to calm down a little.

*knock*knock*knock*

"Who is it?

I tensed up as Jane's voice came from the other side of the door I'm freaking dead now, "uhh.....T-Toby...." I can hear some talking come from the other side of door about three different voices but they weren't very clear. Suddenly the door opened revealing Lavender mixed with Rose scent Fane stuck her head out showing a pissed off face, "go away Toby you're not allowed in" her voice was steady and sorta calm. I sigh and let myself calm down I twitched causing my neck to pop, "Look I just need to talk to Y/N-" I was cut off as she went on about how I can't come in unless you wanted to die and sh**t but I don't care I just wanted to say I'm sorry.

(Y/N pov)

I listened as Toby went against Fane as she warned him not to come inside, Jane was sitting next to you as you sat there looking at the ground just stuck in broken thoughts trying to block out Toby's voice, something wasn't right, a part of you just wanted to sit there and think and then the other part of you was resisting everything around you. As you failed to block out the voices you sighed and locked your eyes on the figure of Toby, once he saw you looking in his direction he stopped talking. "Y/N I'm s-" you cut him off as two ghostly figures appeared in front of you both were young holding hatchets of some kind they giggled and played with there weapons "Toby leave" you said with your eyes still loked on him. Toby sighs and steps back and whispers "I'm sorry" before leaving.

Fane quickly shuts the door and teleports behind you for protection from the creatures you somehow created, the two young boys turn to look in your direction there weapons disappear and they both looked exactly the same. They were just clear enough so you can see through them and their eyes were completely black with purple swirls in them, "Hello miss Y/N......you must be confused or just new to this you're a soul speaker you can summon souls or take them". The boy says holding a paper to his face you give them a questing look as Jane and Fane just looked at you with many different expressions.

You shaked your head, "How am I am Soul speaker if my parents were human" the boy on the left shaked his head, "we don't know that much yet but here" he held out a book that looked like a normal hardback book without the cover image and details just a plain black book with gold engravings with some kind of message written in a different language. You take the book then look back at them, "Who are you anyway" you were still confused on how they new you and how you even summoned them.

"We're soul Kirin when somethings wrong we are summoned but your kind is very rare in this world about 100-120 are still alive, a new species was formed....but there is a person in this mansion who can help you he goes by the name SlenderMan. But be warned magic can't fix broken hearts and be warned magic comes with a price good luck we'll be back soon" the two boys slowly disappeared leaving you with Jane and Fane.

"Well that was interesting" Fane says crawling out from behind you looking freaking scared, Jane got up and walked across the room. "What the heck just happened", you shrugged and opened the book, "I don't know I didn't know I was some kind of soul speaker thing or how to even read this book I wish I knew more about my past or something" Jane nodded as Fane was calming herself down saying there was no ghost it was just a dream. Without looking up from the book you jumped off the bed and walked to the door opening it and walking out not caring if Jane or Fane were calling your name. You shut the book and shoved it into your jacket and walked to slender's office once there you knocked on the door instantly the door opens.

"Hello çhîłd is something wrong" you nod your head and walked into his office, "Something happened and the boy said you're the only one in Mansion that can help" you say turning your back to him. Slender nods and closes the door walking to his desk and takes a seat, "Please have a seat çhîłd" you nodded and sat down in the red velvet chair and pulled out the book from your jacket.

You placed the book on the desk slender chuckled and lifted up the book, "Soul speakers I'm very familiar with this kind of book I didn't think I would come across a another one in my lifetime" slender says opening the book and flipping through the pages. You were more shocked he even knew what the book was and had seen it once before......well the boy did say he could help you. "So you know how to help?" You say adjusting yourself in the chair as slender nodded and handed the book back "Yes çhîłd I'm very familiar with this book, I have taught a soul speaker myself back in the day but I knew something was different about you and you weren't human" you nodded "what happened to the person you taught".

Slender hesitated for a second, "like you have been warned magic comes with a price and they died saving the ones they loved, I may not be able to read your mind but I can tell by the ones around you, love and jealousy". You sigh and start flipping through the book trying to block out what he said. "How am I supposed to use this book of I can't even read it" slender chuckled and pulled out a different black book from his desk it had blue engravings on it " there are more than 5 versions of this book in different languages use this one for now it's written in English" you nodded and took the book.

Slender looked at the clock and cleared his throat, "get some rest çhîłd it's late we will start training in the morning your soul is strong so you won't go down easy" you nodded and placed both books into your jacket and got up from the chair. "Night slender" you say walking out of the room and back up the hall to your room which wasn't very far, but before you can go inside a hand landed on you shoulder making a shiver go down your back.

"Y/N I'm sorry......" You recognized the voice of Toby, you growled and shaked his hand off grabbing the handle to your room. "Are you Fluorine?" Toby gives you a questioning look and shakes his head no "Are you Uranium?" No? " You grin "Are you carbon or potassium?" "Uhh no?". You grin and walk into your room then facing back to him "Fluorine, Uranium, Carbon, Potassium off then!" You say closing the door. You did a happy sigh as you looked around your room seeing no one you quickly changed into your pj's and took the books out of your jacket then flopped down on the bed.
