(Present 1995)

The scuffling they heard turned out to be the paramedics and rescue team. Someone had noticed the snow hill was shaped in the odd form of a car and called the authorities. Tobirama and Madara had been trapped for just under 24 hours, and Tobirama had slept through most of it. They were transported to the hospital as routine procedure to get checked further, even though the initial assessment from the paramedics indicated they were both fine.

Hashirama rushed in frantically through the doors of the Emergency ward, searching for his sister. "Tobirama!" he called out as he pulled back a curtain and found a middle-aged man being stitched up by an intern and they had both been staring at him with stunned expressions.

He moved on to another bed and did the same and continued in this manner one more time until a nurse halted him and asked, "Sir, please stop. You are causing unnecessary stress. Let me help you find who you're looking for"

Hashirama nodded and willed himself to calm down enough then informed the nurse, "I'm looking for my sister, her name is Tobirama Senju, and I have been informed she had been trapped in a car during a blizzard. Please tell me is she alright?" the nurse searched for the name on her clipboard, and managed to locate it after a few seconds, "Your sister is fine and healthy, we have one more test to run before she can be discharged. I'll take you to her" Hashirama nodded and followed the nurse.

She pulled back the curtain and he found his sister waiting patiently for the next nurse who would escort her to get her final check. Tobirama offered her worried and frantic looking brother a slight comforting smile as he rushed towards her to hug her tightly, "Tobi!" he called out with relief at seeing her alive and well.

"Hashi, I'm alright. There's no need for you to turn hysterical" she warned, knowing that the sight of her would not be enough to ease her brother's distress.

"I've been calling your office and apartment! I was so worried!" he exclaimed.

"Brother, I'm fine, as you can see" she reaffirmed. "They said you had been trapped in a car buried beneath the snow! You don't even have a car, what happened?" he probed.

She explained to him about being caught in the storm, that she was offered a ride home, but the sudden emergence of a deer on the road drove them into a snow hill and entrapping them. She left out that the ride was offered by Madara, and simply mentioned that it had been an old acquaintance.

"There, now stop worrying please" she pleaded but Hashirama began again "You're sure you're alright? There's nothing that I can do for you?" he attempted one last ask, and she saw that he needed to busy himself to calm down his nerves and her own for that matter, so she sent him on an errand, "I could use some coffee" she said smiling, and he willingly complied, "Then I will grab you some!" and he left her bedside to go secure her the beverage.

On his way to the coffee vending machine, Hashirama spotted a familiar face, "Izuna! What are you doing here?" he asked.

"The same thing you are, no doubt. Madara was trapped during the storm and I'm his emergency contact" and Hashirama thought this was far from a coincidence. Tobirama mentioned an old acquaintance rescued her, could it be she was referring to Madara. It made sense to him why she left out a name, if it was indeed his best friend she was referring to.

"Where is he?" the Senju asked and Izuna lead the way.

A hand appeared onto the curtain to pull it back, and Madara assumed it was his younger brother returning, "That was quick, so am I discharged now? Can we leave?" he asked irritated to be in the hospital for so long, but it was revealed to him that it was Hashirama who had come to see him, and not his brother. Izuna had taken the coffee to Tobirama on her brother's behalf, as he wanted to check on her as well.
