The days just keep passing until the weekend. At Mona's house, Lumine lounged on the couch without a care in the world.

" Hmm. Now that I have so much time  don't have anything that I want to do right now," said Lumine looking at the clock on the wall.

It's night time and she is currently waiting for Mona to come back home with the food. After some time, Mona finally comes home from her work. Mona looks extremely tired. Lumine got up from the couch and helped Mona to carry the food to the table.

Lumine then serves the food on an individual plate and asks Mona to eat together with her. " Mona, let's eat together. There is something I need to discuss with you. "

" Nah. I'm not hungry. You eat first. I will eat after I got some rest. " replied Mona.

" Ok then. " said Lumine a little disappointed.

" Oh before I forgot , here take this. " said Mona as she threw a small bottle of pills.

Lumine catches it and wonders what the pill is for. " What is this pill for ? "

" Ah, it too helps you sleep better or something. A friend of mine recommended it to me when I have sleeping problems. " replied Mona as she let herself fall on the couch. " You seem like you need it. There's eye bags under your eyes. "

" O- oh .. I didn't realize it was that obvious. Thanks, I guess . I'll make sure to take some. " replied Lumine.

She has a bad feeling about the pills. She decided to not take it, at least not tonight. Lumine then continues to eat her dinner alone while Mona is already fast asleep.

Lumine finished her dinner and decided to take a walk outside even though it's already late. She didn't bother to tell Mona because she didn't want to wake her up. After Lumine closed the door, Mona woke up from the couch and make a call.

" She's already out. She doesn't take the pill you gave. "

The other side of the call is quiet and then the call ended without any response.

" That's was rude. Even after I help them with this crap. Well, I hope you are ready Lumine. Forgive me for doing this. " said Mona as she look outside the window.

Lumine walks outside enjoying the scenery of Mondstat at night. There are no people outside at this hour.

As Lumine walk she saw a few back alley. She remembers how she and Aether would venture into back alley and got into trouble when they got home late. Their caretaker really hates it when they come back home late . This memory left a sour taste in her mouth. Her brother have left her. It is no use remembering good things about him.

Lumine kept walking until she saw a group of teenagers going into an alley suspiciously.

She decides to ignore them at first but, then she saw how weird their eyes look. Their eyes looked empty like, there is no thought behind it. They also seem like they have no idea what they are doing themselves.

" That's weird."

Lumine then follow them for a bit. They keep walking deeper and deeper into the back alley. This is the first time Lumine walked into this part of the back alley so, she is not familiar with the direction.
Lumine kept tailing the group of teenagers until they suddenly stopped.

" Wow, they stopped in sync. There is something wrong here. " Lumine stopped at the corner of the alley away from their sights to observe.

While she is hiding, she heard someone is talking to them. She took a peek. She saw a man wearing a mask with blue hair. They seem to listen to what he is saying. She tried to hear what they were talking about while hiding behind the corner of the alley. She can't hear anything clearly so she tries to lean in closer. Then out of nowhere someone holding a knife comes from behind Lumine. He tries to stab Lumine from the back.
She dodged the knife and moved away. The man holding the knife wearing a uniform with a logo that Lumine is familiar with.
