Walker's pov-

Me and y/n walk to third street together, smiling and laughing.

"Wait, so, you don't like video games?"

I asked smiling like a wild banshee. We were already best friends, and it was nice to meet someone younger than me that had the same interests.

"I've just never been big on them, I don't hate them though."

She said smiling and laughing at my ailly question.

"Oh my God, this pizza place is the best, and I know the owner. Come on!"

She said as she dragged me down third street to a pizza place called Geraldi"s pizza. We walked in and a guy in his thirties walks up to us.

"Hey y/n, you who's this?"

The man asked and smiled at me. She replied,

"Hey Joe. This is Walker, he's staying in town a while."

The man's face lit up.

"Wait walker? Walker scobell? The kid who plays Percy Jackson? Well, here we have some of the best pizza kid, so take a seat and we'll get you some."

Joe smiled and pointed to a table in the back. We went and sat.

"So walker, got any allergies?"

Y/n smiled and asked me. We seemed to be getting pretty close.

"Nope, nothing. What about you?"

I asked.

"No allergies. What's your favorite book series?"

She asked. We seemed to both know the answer, but I replied anyway.

"Obviously it's Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Duh y/n."

I smiled and joked. We sat, ordered pizza and talked. She handed me an airpod and we found out we also have the same music taste. We listened to Frank Ocean and Chase Atlantic.

Time skip to after pizza

We walk around downtown. I really like mcminnville. Maybe I could ask my mom if we could move here. Me and y/n could see each other more often! I need to slow down, she barely knows me, and I barely know her. She probably doesn't even want me to live here. As we walk we stop in front of a bookstore. It's super cute and calm and quiet. She looks at me with pleading eyes and asks,

"Can we buy some books? Pleeeease?"

I smiled and said as we walked into the store,

"Of course we can buy some books. Let me pay. What books are you looking for?"

I asked her as we walked around the book store when she stops abruptly.

"This one. I finally found it."

She picks up a book and squeals. We walk around a bit more, when she picks out a few romance novels. Then we go to check out. That's when I see she grabbed a hardcover of the sun and the star. I smile and pay for the books. We walk out of the bookstore and I check the time, 7:49pm.

"We should head back to the house, it's getting pretty late. Come on."

I tell her. She smiles as we walk towards a small park.

"Let me show you one more thing. Follow me."

We walked towards a small park called dragon park. We sat on the swing set and talked a bit more.

"Wanna have a contest? Whoever gets the highest wins and gets bragging rights. Deal?"

I asked as I smiled competitively. She smiled back and readied her feet.

"Ready, set, go!"

She smiled as we started swinging. I knew she was going to win, but it's fun to bond with her.

"I win! Whoo!"

She smiled as she claimed her victory. We got off the swings eventually and walked back to the house.

"Hey twins, where'd you go? Dior and charlie are upstairs doing something stupid and leah and Aryan are doing skincare."

My sister asked as she looked up from her phone.  We slid off our converse.

"We went downtown, bought a few things. Come on y/n, let's go upstairs."

I said and we rushed up the stairs laughing and being silly. We get into the room and she flopped onto her bed. I chuckled as she made an oof sound. We both started laughing again, no words, just laughs. She lays on her back kicking her feet with laughter. Soon we got ready for bed, and got some sleep.

Will we become best friends? Who knows.......

I know the chapter is kinda short, but I hope it was good. Also I have a very unsteady schedule, so I'll post when I can.
