"The Triwizard Tournament was first established some seven hundred years ago as a friendly competition between the three largest European schools of wizardry: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang. A champion was selected to represent each school, and the three champions competed in three magical tasks. The schools took it in turns to host the tournament once every five years, and it was generally agreed to be a most excellent way of establishing ties between young witches and wizards of different nationalities." - Albus Dumbledore

"I shouldn't have spilt off from the rest of the girls," I mumbled to myself as I roamed the halls of the giant castle. "I should've just waited until after dinner to go find a bathroom and now I've missed the entrance too!" I frown walking around the halls aimlessly trying to find the Great Hall, my stomach growls as I have officially determined I am properly lost. I round the next corner in this never-ending labyrinth of a school and I spot a tall boy with red hair leaning up against the wall on the other side of the corridor. He gives me a cheeky grin as he spots me.

"Lost?" He asks smirking, cocking an eyebrow at me.

"Extremely." I sigh locking eyes with him. "I'm looking for the Great Hall?" I continue looking at him hopefully.

"Well, well, well. Today is your lucky day. I can take you." He smiles and extends his hand.

I raise my eyebrow at him before scrunching up my face and pushing his hand back. "I can just follow you, no need," I reply, a tight smile forming on my lips.

He chuckles lightly before taking my hand in his anyways and dragging me along with him as he takes off down the hall. "No can do beautiful, we wouldn't want you to get lost again hm?" He says giving me a wink. He stops in front of a large door at the end of the hall and I snatch my hand back from him looking at him with disgust.

"I'm not a child!" I scoff crossing my arms. "You don't have to be so- so abrasive!"

"It's part of the service." He laughs at my reaction. "Well, here we are. The Great Hall is through those doors." He says pointing while leaning up against the door frame as he looks me up and down for a moment.

"What? Is something wrong?" I ask as I try to feel around for something out of place.

"No, no. You're not from here are you?" He asks.

"I'm from Beauxbatons Academy, we're here for the Triwizard Tournament," I reply with a slight smile.

"I figured as much, you don't exactly look like a traditional Hogwarts student, now do you?" He teases, nudging me with his elbow as he pushes the doors open to the Great Hall.

The doors to the hall swing open as I slowly take in the sheer size of the place. The hall was long and lined with four long tables that ran parallel to each other reaching from one side of the room to another. Candles danced around the room illuminating the room perfectly with the ceiling of the room capturing a beautiful night sky dotted with stars. On the other end of the hall sat a long table sitting the Hogwarts headmaster amongst other staff of Hogwarts, along with the headmaster of Beauxbatons Academy and assumingly the headmaster of Durmstrang. The dining hall catered to a large cohort of students that lined the large tables in the middle of the room all proudly displaying their house colours.

I huff, rolling my eyes. "Definitely not." I scan the room looking for the rest of the girls from my school as I find them seated at the front. I turn my attention back to the red-headed boy standing in front of me smirking. "Well thanks anyways, uh?" I say realising I don't know his name.
