"The champions will be chosen by an impartial selector: the Goblet of Fire. Anybody wishing to submit themselves as champion must write their name and school clearly upon a slip of parchment and drop it into the goblet, aspiring champions have twenty-four hours in which to put their names forward. Tomorrow night, Halloween, the goblet will return the names of the three it has judged most worthy to represent their schools. The goblet will be placed in the entrance hall tonight, where it will be freely accessible to all those wishing to compete." - Albus Dumbledore.

The next morning Fleur drags me out of bed by my foot, ending with me landing with a thud on the dark hardwood floors beneath me. Before I even have a chance to analyze what is happening Fleur is running down the hundreds of stairs in the Ravenclaw tower with me hopelessly in tow as she has my arm in a death grip dragging me across the castle. She stops before the entrance hall tidying herself up quickly before walking in with me falling behind rubbing my eyes in a haze.

As we entered the room I noticed a flock of students all huddled in a circle all surrounding a stone chalice-like goblet, blue flames emitting from the cup. My eyes widen slightly as I watch Fleur push through the crowd before pulling out a piece of paper and throwing it into the flames. Cheers erupt as the paper goes in she turns back to look at me with a large grin on her face before running back over a bringing me into a tight hug.

"Congratulations Fleur! You will do amazing, I'm sure you'll be picked." I say ecstatically.

"It's such a shame you're too young to enter." She says with a small sigh.

"Even if I was old enough there's no way I am brave enough to enter, not like you!" I say squeezing her arm lightly.

Our heads then turn to a tall boy from Hogwarts, his robes detailed in yellow as his friends joke and push him towards the cup. "Come on Cedric! Put it in!" One yells. The boy named Cedric approaches the cup dropping his name in before turning back to his friends who cheer in excitement before taking their leave. I turn to Fleur watching her fake fan herself as I roll my eyes at her.

"Ooh he is gorgeous," She coos her eyes following him out of the room. "How I would love to take him back with us to Beauxbaton," She giggles playfully hitting my arm.

"Close your mouth, Fleur. You're drooling all over the floor." I comment sarcastically, she smacks my arm again a little harder and huffs.

"Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," She mumbles with a smile.

"Maybe because I was dragged out?!" I huff as she turns to look at me with a big grin.

Fleur and I continue to bicker playfully before the doors to the entrance hall swing open and in bursts Fred and his twin brother, Fred 2. I never got the chance to learn his name. I hum to myself. The boys burst in, erupting in cheers and laughs as they held up tiny vials of potions. Fred's eyes land on mine smiling brightly as he winks at me before making their way across the room to where their friends are sat.

"Well lads, we've done it,"

"Cooked it up just this morning," Fred and his brother say in unison as they show the group their potions.

I watch curiously with Fleur. "What on earth are they up to?" I mumble to myself, continuing to watch on.

"It's not going to work!" A small girl with bushy brunette hair spoke.

The twins squat down to where she is, mischief gleaming in their eyes.

"Oh yeah?"

"And why's that Granger." They taught as she huffed before continuing to explain.
