Paws quietly dragged over the muddy ground, getting stained.
The moon was almost sinking, and the forest received not even the slightest light from the ball in the sky.
The trees were too close together, and wouldn't allow light to enter. Not even
the sun got in, not allowed by the forest to give it's warmth.
A meow of annoyance sounded, and the gathered cat's turned to it.

"This is taking forever! We're just wandering without a destination, we'll starve this way," A tom meowed, almost hissing. His tail lashed with anger.
A light furred She-Cat turned to the displeased apprentice, sighing.
"If you believe that, then you can go back," She firmly mews, standing tall, not allowing the apprentice to intimidate her.

An awkward silence filled the area, only the soft sound of the wind disturbing it. The forest was quiet, not even a slight sound of an animal present.

"No, I won't." The apprentice huffs, staring at the ground.
The light coloured She-Cat murmured something, turning her attention back to the other's. They were five in total.

"Let's continue, we have little time to waste-" She couldn't finish her sentence, for the apprentice had already hissed more words.
"You're going to kill us all just so you can know more, don't you guys see how absurd this is? We're a group of five cat's, alone in a dark and huge forest GhostClan know's where!" His hiss was sharp and agitated, and he shot the white cat in-front of him a mean glare.
"Quiet, we have no time to argue. We must hurry, you came with us willingly when this all started." The She-Cat states, walking away.

The other cat's slowly followed, hungry and tired. The apprenrice opened his mouth to protest, but silenced himself, ashamed.
A pretty tom gave him a nudge, just a little older than him.
"Come on, you'll be left behind at this pace. Besides, none of us truly have a desire to come running back to our Clan. Neither do you, so hurry up." The brown tom flicked his tail, purposely in the other apprentice's face.

Eventually all the cat's followed the one up ahead, head's low and sighs filling the air. They were all tired, but there was no time to rest. They had to keep moving, despite the pain in their paws, stopping would be risky.
