One of the underrated and toptier stories of wattpad when it comes to to how storry telling is beautifully excuted through ink.The book has typical plot and is not perfect, but don't let it fool you because it's strenght lies on how it was told by the author.I love authors who have the guts to combine classics and contemporary because it is often resulted in make or break. Floresent's style however manage to grasp this unique flair of combining classic and contemporary writing without comprimising the quality of both styles(You knew what I mean when if you're into romance books and happened to encounter Alex Hall, Sherry Thomas and Callie Hart's works). And I bieve that's the charm of this book, the characters and all are almost 3 dimentional---Yes,it is has this modern/realistic vibes but at the same time poetic para kang andun mismo sa loob ng ng kwento pero actually binabasa mo sya because of how it is beautifully written.The world building, the character development, the classic narratives, heart wrenching POVs, tear jerker line diliveries and the TWIST ---hah cheff kiss!
Plot wise, it is typical or cliche and nothing new to romantic genre,but as I've metiontioned, the author's approach used how the story is conveyed are way different compared to others na may love-triangle plot---there's more into it as you dive deeper into the story and mind you this depth will surely drown you.To cut the long short TEOR is "makabagbag-damdamin" definitely not for the weak heart as it tells a compelling story of selfish and selfless love,when to fight for love or raised your white flag,when to let go and hold on and of right or wrong.And just like the book's main characters, you'll find yourself empathizing with them as they battle thier own inner monsters and confront thier skeletons in the closet.In the end,you will find yourself rooting for both ML's as each MEN are deserving to our FL's love---I mean in thier own twisted ways.FL is not difinitely a mary sue, I loved her flaws as woman, her emotional struggle is realistic enough. Her status in society, her principles in life, choices and decision making made sense and connected to create this High Emotional Intelligent woman,Yes, she is'nt perfect but knew how to bounce and learned from her mistakes.
I hope Ms Floresent relublished it and enter it in wattpad originals(sadly it was unpublished) . This kind of masterpiece is meant to be celebrated in Filipino Literature nkt to shelved. Floresent is a diamond in rough and has a great potential to rise and soar as one of wattpad best author as well as best Filipino Author in romance genre given the chance.
